Beauty painted by nature in the clouds,
A big umbrella that shields not the crowds,
Pitter-patters and everyone is soaked,
Thereafter, sunlight anger is provoked.
Brushes not coloured by oil or water,
Yet hues of blue, pink and red on blotter,
Leaving the painter's brush so sirenic,
Just to make the birth of the night scenic.
Dark veil then covers twilight's pretty smile,
With its splendour taken away in style.
The veil was lifted and I was jolted,
Twilight just made another day bolted.
Old age beckoned and reality dawned.
Fulfilment of my heart desires prolonged.
Worked hard but the reward is so little,
My patience has become very brittle.
Since my life is by now in its twilight,
Nature is not considering my plight.
Nowhere afresh again for me to start.
This truth has left a deep hole in my heart.

Bare feet on white sands;
White skies, white trees.
Watching as rolling foams
Creep in gentle tributaries,
Washing blue beneath naked heels.
The first wave: gentle touch,
Tender as inquisitive hands.
Withdrawing. Testing.
Before returning once more,
Embracing unknown skin.
Such mysteries lie
Beneath shallow-deep,
Where no sight sees,
Or stone skips,
Or hands rest.
Aquatic embrace,
Powerful, yet reserved;
Veiled in beauty,
Sirenic calls that beat the sand,
Kissing beneath the soul.
Bare feet on white sands;
Paddling in the surge of the tide,
Exploring the fraction of an infinite.
Skin comforted in warmer waters,
To depart to return again.

Among delicate sirenic chants of amorous love birds,
charming Clematises thrive within their flower garden,
composing succulent symphonies alongside Honeysuckle,
seduced by the sweet scent of blossoming bright Jasmine.
Thirsting for nutrient rain to quench their breathless sighs.

I stared into the depths of bluest sea,
Into the eyes of beauty’s sweetest pearl,
And fell in love as she hypnotised me.
Beneath the waves her gold locks heave and swirl,
The flowing of her hair entranced my mind,
A sailor lost to a beautiful girl.
Her sirenic song told of love to find,
The music carried passion’s tidal surge,
How could I know her love was the worst kind?
Within her kiss I felt my soul diverge,
And dragged me down so I can ne’er be free,
My lifeless body left for seas to purge.
I stared into the depth of bluest sea,
And fell in love as she hypnotised me.
