Premium Member Sinuous in Many Sways

I meander along
      drifting like a ribbon,
            curling in the breeze,
                  bending like a river
            sinuous with the flow
       swing to the beat
swaying left and right
        meandering onward
              sashaying
                    rambling
              winding
        curling
  humming
          zigzag
                 zinging
         singing
  along
      I go
          um

Premium Member Discombobulated

Discombobulation
Interrupts my concentration
In the darkest corner of my mind
It's sinuous coils unwind
And because of it's intrusion
I'm caught up in confusion
My thoughts become so scattered
And the thing that really mattered
The track that I was following
The snake is busy swallowing
I wish I could combobulate
And concentrate to meditate

Sinuous Summer

sinuous seaside sand
softly shifts smooth stones
seaweeds stinky sigh

winsome waves woven
wearing wondrous weave
westerly wind whistles

sunlit sparkling stars
seashore serenades sunshine
sopranos singing

driftwood’s dozing dreams
distant diamond disappears
deep dusky day dies

                          Your face
                        is a love song
                     of exquisite and matchless appeal

                Your eyes
a duet of violin and cello
             sonorous, deep

          Your hair
         an orchestra of euphonious instruments
         playing in cohesive harmony

           Your smile
             a fantasia
               of unearthly delight

                   Your teeth
a legato line of 32nd notes
in a concerto played to perfection

                  Your hands
                a conductor’s baton
              emoting wordlessly

          Your voice
       a rhapsody
   of supernal joy

 Your heart
a sumptuous lyric
a poetic paragon

  Your soul
     a sacred oratorio
      set apart and holy

      You are a sinuous melody
I can’t get out of my head
…nor will I ever wish to

sinuous and slow
old summertime path home
