In a forgotten corner of the world, where silences stretch like a carpet of mist,
My thoughts wander among the ruins of lives scattered by the wind,
Reminding me that wisdom and madness dance hand in hand,
Like two shadows merging under the pale light of an eternal sunset.
In the silence of an endless night, I contemplate the broken destinies,
A silent song of those who fell prey to their inner storms,
For only when ruin touches our own being do we truly understand,
For only then do we see clearly that the lost ones are our unknown brothers.
In the shadow of an existence unraveling like an old canvas,
I realize that the drunkards, the mad, the prisoners, and the dreamers are part of us,
People who wear invisible scars like medals of destiny,
They are as commonplace as a rainbow arching after a storm.
Memories intertwine like threads of silk in the wind of time,
And I understand that every ruined life is a story worth hearing,
For in their fragility, we find the reflection of our own searches,
And in the fragility of a shattered dream, we find the strength to be reborn.

Wandering through dreams and silences, I choose to survive or submit,
the blow is different now, no longer what it once was, a faint echo.
Submission was just a bow, and life promised a new fight,
survival was mere awakening, without titles and hollow possessions.
The world, with its sweet pursuit, has left holes in our souls and chipped smiles,
I wander through thoughts and ponder the meaning of the word "submission,"
lowering my being, I wonder which path to take,
do not offer me shelter under a wing, I need no kings or thrones.
Be lost with me, let change come from conviction and fury,
peace carries a cost I cannot afford, it's too expensive a luxury.
I wander, and I’d rather drift aimlessly than be anchored
in the world's trash, I prefer to float through dreams and unknown winds.
I wander, an ever-seeking soul, between hidden questions and answers,
searching for a world where freedom has no chains and the heart can fly free.

Premium Memberthe silences

the path that I follow is tangled
    as I wander the forest
        where the twisted trees talk
           and the rivers whisper
and the sounds of the birds chirping
               speak to my soul
and the silences are my heartbeats

In a world of shadows and deep silences, I tread slowly,
On the paths of solitude, where stars weave my hair with gentle rays,
The guardian trees whisper to the wind tales long forgotten,
And people are storms that break my peace in waves of words,
Their voices become storms that drown my soul in murky waters,
They trap me in webs of lies and promises lost to the wind,
They strip me of my silence and leave me bare under a sky full of words,
I retreat to hidden corners of the universe, where the moon knows my secrets,
In their noisy tumult, I am the cat beneath the heavy steps of elephants,
Silent in a world that knows not to listen, only to speak,
In solitude, I find the harmony of a symphony of mute whispers,
Each thought is a falling star, each breath a new universe,
In the pale light of the dawning day, I find my balance,
On the edge of a dream, where silence is my quiet queen,
In this eternal dance of silence, I live the unseen magic of the world,
Words are but distant echoes, lost in time.

That Language of Silence

Oh, how can we deny !
when the poor translations of HIS language deafen us,
while HIS silences make us cry.

(01.03.2025)

"Silence is the language of god,
all else is poor translation" - Rumi.

Premium MemberOpus 2025 Night Silences

two singular heartbeats
emergent with fluttering exhalations
a tiny speck of time and temperature
rushing nowhere beside falcons
pausing breakneck together
i hear her wet whispers kissing
caressing deep lidless eyes
my heart knows the latitudes
understands the lay of the land
bestows a feast of electric night
giving flowers of touchings
receiving tongues of fire
inside this temple of ancient desire
emergent with breathless silences
two singular heartbeats

Haunting Silences

Whispers …
deep inside my pillow
Reminding
of each fleeting voice
trapped beyond the wind

Memories …
bending like a willow
Weighing down
my broken dreams
—the future lost within

Premium MemberThe Color of Silences

Is black a color or a shade,
that dims true colors?
For black absorbs light
from which colors glow to be visible.
Is white a color or a shade
that lightens true colors?
For within white is all
the colors in the visible light spectrum.
It lightens with a dash of brightness.
Is silence a sound or
an empty gap in what's heard?
Or is silence a shade that dilutes
and numbs true sounds?
Perhaps right down to inaudible.
Can you hear the sound of silence?
Is silence an empty interval
or a vacuum,
totally devoid of sound?
Is it a state of absolute stillness
and quietude, an interlude in time?
Perhaps true silence does not exist,
because you always hear something
even if it's make believe, or
your brain faking sounds or echoing the past.
You can hear silences even though they make no sounds
or vibrations in your ears.
They are perceived as an interval, long or short,
beyond a blink.
Certainly, silence, the absence of sound, does not make the
heart grow fonder.
Waiting to hear is destructive.
Hearing nothing but silence, hurts.
Words spoken but unheard are still-born to silences.
"For silence like a cancer grows".

Thinking in the,
Absence of silence.

A droplet of ink,
Can make millions think
Thinking in the
Absence of this silence.

Silence is being answered,
From questions that have
Never asked?

It is silence,
You do get
Pearls of Wisdom
Thickens, be it said.

Don't plan on being helped,
For help has gone silent
When this book, sitting here
On the shelf, silenced.

Silences, be it that,
Standish one
Instead, be the laid-back one
Make some history.

I am writing his words,
Doing what he does.

Takes one last glance at,
The silence around the room
Silenced is his, he roosts.

Questions We Passed Over

I
If silence is golden, can it be damaged?

II
If silence is good for us, why break it?

Premium MemberPeace Silences Fears

Peace
sweet chimes
ring in our hearts
echo love’s gracious gifts
of pardon and mercy from God
vanquishing guilt of bitterness tremors
as faith* silences troubling doubts
shouting
fears.

*Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Silence of Silences

Silence can be:
                  Sinister,
                   winding.
                   threatening...
                   To fear,
                   wish to die,
                    to kill... !
                    Silence
                     in-depth,
                     buried,
                      terrifying ...!
                      Silence of the innocents,
                      from the tombs,
                      of the guilty ...
                       I prefer the silence
                       from the sea ...
                       Of the calm love,
                       soft silence
of the two of us ...!

Sound and Silences Equals -

Great pianists play only some keys in a song, quite aware of the "others"
Only novices will hate the black or white keys, or ones they do not need
Do you know music is both sound and silence, foreground and background?

Silences

You got into my
                        silence,
                    and our silences
                   they got together well.
                   But when you started talking,
                   Went away ... my silence.
                   fainted so sad, without duet
cried a lot but so in vain... !
