Peace Silences Fears

Peace
sweet chimes
ring in our hearts
echo love’s gracious gifts
of pardon and mercy from God
vanquishing guilt of bitterness tremors
as faith* silences troubling doubts
shouting 
fears.

*Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
