ancient olive tree
"Oliveira do Pes" tree
neat to read and see
three thousands seven hundreds ~
years of age and still produce
I’m counting the days
like faded rosary beads...
light’s losing its gloss
in old dusty memories
my forgotten passion lies
going back its a fact
still my tennis rack
play ball summer and fall
had friends that never end
never had any fears

NEW YEARS HORNS AND HATS
How I long for that,
Lack of responsibility,
Lust for life,
Fever for knowledge,
I wish to relive it,
For just a day,
Just one day.
on this day
it for play
after hard work
some or jerks
we drink like pink
it not kink
we just get it started

let me hear the ring
let hear you sing
on that night
undercity light
as it begin to fall
new years eve
off that wall
GIVE ME A CALL
Where will I be in ten years?
I ask poetrysoup that
I wonder, I ponder
Will I still be a toddler?
Or just another "I do not know" poem.
