Let me go, set me free
For i can no longer bear the torment
Of moments past, such memories
Yearnings of old, too ancient
D.I.Y of detachment
demolish the
ideological
yearnings
of a heart
that was once
full of longing
till there was
no trace left
Love CINQUAIN
Love
deep affection
warm intimacy yearnings
deep adoration devotion
endearment

Walking among our clouds of doubt
Our fate is sealed
with innocent ambiguity
Our steps are laden
with blind uncertainty
Our yearnings, like cliffs
fall away to guiltless verity
deep thoughts
heart's yearnings
poet's mind's eye
disclosed, distilled, displayed
laid bare

Excruciations---
tuned up...
Yearnings---
beated out...
Agony---
amplified...
And---
A ripple ruffled through
the dampened self
to break
it's
Slumber...

Exotic yearnings of sunny vacationing
Tropical dreams of tango and margarita
Vibrant colours of ambrosial gardens
I befriend a little corner of paradise

Yearnings of childhood
distant echoes
of mystery, magical trains
broken tracks
the mind —
often late past midnight
senses
the source
strains… reaches…
for stairwells
of
explanations
Grimly grown
into the
youthful
yearnings
towards
being alone.
Within this
wistful world
woefully willing
to wear itself down.
In order to be
branded as
something of
your own.

THE WOMAN WHO WAITED TOO LONG
Empty womb
Springs tumble winters
The clock ticks
Plum blossoms
Yearnings of passion
Wept away
America believed "Congress"decided effortlessly for giving health incentive justification,"knowing" love may not open prior questions regarding special things under vague wrong xenophobic yearnings zonked!!
No time for the memories,
no time to refrain
No time for the questions,
as answers proclaim
No time for the yearnings,
regret hovers close
No time for new learning
—all time but a ghost
(Dreamsleep: December, 2015)
sensual touches
sate a need that aids depressed
hearts seeking passion
patches to cover twin aches
worn as scars from rejection
escape needs fulfilled
covers hold two stories told ~
desperate duet
Green woods
Barefoot I walk
Chalk half broken
Unspoken yearnings
Earrings from the caves
Waves from the Tigris
Enslaving existence
Distances chopped
Pearl drops

As
A
Bubble
Coveted dreams
Waft in the ether
Illumining opalescent
Hankering yearnings in your sanguineous veins stream
Awakening the enthusiasm to wake up each morning with a sense of purpose

Simple yearnings are the only ones I’ve ever known
Gentle as the sparrow’s wing forever having flown
Easy as the summer sun that rises in the sky
Just to be loved and to love for dreamers such as I
slate gray day's
nocturnal mood
souls sensitive
often brood
upon nature's
whimsy, caprice
yearnings stillborn
know no peace
darkness settles
in forest, meadows
'pon every plateau ~
doused, flames' embers
in shuttered chateaus
Knack for keeping kisses and kindnesses kindled while
Yoking yearnings to stars without yielding to fear yarns and
Leaping over list of limits doctors labelled as his life so he may
Eagerly enjoy evidence of all his joyous emotions empower
External conflict
(versus)
self-disaffection
The first a misdemeanor
(the second)
a higher crime
Inarticulate
powerful yearnings
trapped in between
Inarticulate
powerful yearnings
—of that forever lost
(Dreamsleep: August, 2022)
Remember when, 'way back then'
Our flag we flew -- to cheers, not boos
Old Glory, all saluted
No one taunted, no one hooted
'Star-Spangled Banner' folks sang
Off-key, tear-stained twang
We believed every word
Deep yearnings stirred
fear sets in motion
a negative desire
to experience denial
of bountiful abundance
that is always available
desire sets in motion
yearnings of ignorance
to secure an object
that is but a fleeting mirage
within the lucid dream

FEBRUARY
Fiercely independent these
Eclectic February days.
Bravado, masked in the madness of
Revelry’s raucous, windy,
Ululations bowing the
Aspens in prayerful
Resignation to the simmering
Yearnings of Spring.

monologue to a past one
and now you know
all of my transgressions
my rending yearnings plastered
and replastered into my heart
my whole self is bare before
spirit eyes
will you judge me now as the truth
can no longer be wrapped in my body
MY YEARNINGS
My yearnings only to get best
right reward what I do deserve.
If diligent and competent,
I wish for success to observe
and reciprocation in I love.
Time passes
long wait...
And none of us
arrives at the appointment...
the watch of life
still loose
unmarked
the final moment...
But the inexorable fear
is looking for me
of our yearnings...
And we, when
we finally arrive...!
To our destination...
