My grandfather's name
Was given to me at birth
To honor the man
That my father never knew
Having died in World War Two

Blood Raining

Letters Sending
Kids Crying
People learning
World Changing
When we came on that train we go into the dark.
To never see light again, to never see a familiar face,
To starve, to cry, to slowly die.
Battle
of Britain-
futility
in the shadows of a
world war

We preach world peace, because it costs us little
II
If u can say "Welcome," or "Good Day" to those you dislike ... then peace has begun
Look at Tommy go
Watch him fall in neat khaki rows
Bravely led
Tommy bravely bled
20,000 went over the top
20,000 lay dead
British found oodles of Vitamin C
In a place unknown by you and me.
Rose hip jam
That’s right ma’am.
During World War Two kept children healthy.
We still have one rose crystal slipper
eagerly presented to grandmother once upon a time
by a prince of a man, who left during World War II
never to return
Today we remember the fallen
on foreign fields that were trodden
by armies at odds.
Our wreaths laid on sods
will ensure they are never forgotten.
Lies tempt souls to hate and fight peace
Lies corrupt and tensions increase
Lies strike at the heart
To rip lives apart
Tearing at sane minds, piece by piece
A man with towel and cellphone
Returned with news, The enemy's gone!
Locking the bedroom door
He'd piled bodies on the floor
But Zweeee! He forgot one last one
There once was a place called Acirema
A ways from the sands of Ipanema
The birthplace of Squanto
The home of brave Tonto
Backwards. it fought at Iwo Jima
My father, a WW2 vet
My mother too
On Veterans Day they first met
They got married on Vets Day too
~ I hope some day to fill their shoes
I woke this morning, so happiLY
to the song of a bird in a tree.
My mood was diminished,
and breakfast not finished,
because the headline read "World War III".
The drone of bombers
In the night sky
A wail of sirens
From the terrified city
Where youth and innocence die.

slab of smokey concrete sky
swirls like swarms of ashen hands
reaching away from skeletal grief
someone's suppressed tears dissolved
~another's anguish ignited
Nature's most beautiful creation
A field of poppies in a Belgium location
World War One
Fighting the Huns
But the Spanish Flu was the next altercation
When Russia inevitably evens the score
Ukraine will remain an unpainted whore
To NATO unattractive
Russia wary, reactive
Hiding in alleyways, pre-Third World War
Front-line in depth of mortar
Whistling shells and screams of torture
Blood clot gurgles death bell tolls
Hell of pain in body enthrals
Danger rings apprehension stalls

Ethics only on board...
Educators are on roads......…
Rich always freaky..
Poor always shaky..
Frauds seems always happy
Life was in 2024 tragedy..

Martin and Lewis two funny fellas
A crazy person and singer from the 50s era
Movies were hits
Two silly twits
Lightened things up after World War II terror
World War II was in progress
At 5 or 6 years old the world was obsessed
It was us against them
Millions were condemned
Six years later the war was suppressed
keeping
the sad notes
locked away
keeps me
sane
but sometimes
it hurts
not to hurt
I need
a little cut
to bleed away
one drop
of life's pain
so I write
poetry
