Winged Workout

Winged Workout I wish I were kissing you, the butterflies in my stomach need some exercise

Outlook Workout

the muscles in your forehead
control your eyebrows
and your outlook
so just know to look beyond your brow
if you know how !

whimsical warthogs workout wildly
with wonderful whacky wily ways
Wheebellies wish whenever warthogs workout
we would whistle while they wisely wiggle
with warthog wisdom.

A Sestet of Strength

Strength a labor of time,
A work which breaks bones,
An effort which I have made mine,

While I work once again,
This time I work with friends,
With this I can go through the pain.

Jane Fonda

Jane Fonda still likes to exercise and stretch,
so throws the odd chew toy and tells her dog to go fetch.
She remembers fondly those famous workout videos,
even if now she can’t always reach her own toes.

Broken

You think I'm not broken. On a Sunday drive. The words not yet spoken, seem no surprise.
I'm choking on my smile. Hoping meanwhile everything everything will workout. Bottom of
the pile, trying to dig out.

Early morning workout walk time

Time to have a workout walk

at the local shopping mall ... not.

Better, instead, a walk down a peaceful, country lane

w/ foraging song birds gleaming, the rabbits

frolicking in the grass ...

the springtime sun slowly rising ...

warm on the face ...

Till Fate Decides Otherwise

I wish you were here,
I don't want this to disappear.
Was this meant to be?
Will everything workout perfectly?

Till Fate says otherwise,
This might last till the day we both die.
I know I love thee,
Could this be?
Could this be true love?
It feels like it is...

Gym Experience

My heart aches
I am fat
It's already too late!

The workout kills
The instructor is hunky

My stomach churns
I am overweight
It is not even funny

The weights are stuck to the floor
The stretch ribbons won't stretch anymore

My jiggly parts burns

Screw this, I'm out for the door!
Let's go out and have a food war

A drowsiness that borders on fatigue:
some say I’m spending too much time at sea.
My boat’s a rail and seat and little more;
nineteen inch stick and web strap for an oar.
Engaging workout always buoy me;
I might as well get in another league!

Flippers up
  Flippers down
Wave those flippers
  All around

Swish your tail
  From side to side
Create a wake
  A water slide

Take a plunge
  Dive down deep
Your body propelled
  As up you leap

Hey, Sea Lion
  Clap your hands
When you perform
  You grandstand*

*To grandstand means to 'ham it up'

Workout

i keep my

fit

jogging
my memory
each and every

minute
but as
far as

my body i
abuse
by

eating too
much rich
food even

though
i'm poor
and pouring

down glass
after glass
of wine

and
or
beer

and so
i keep
myself

and my
self be
hind

closed doors
as much as
i can but

with
open
windows

I saw a CEO in her workout suit
riding on a Peloton when there was a toot

'Dominos Delivery,' rang the voice, 'Your pizza is still hot'
CEO opened the window just enough, saying 'Thanks a lot'

Standing by her side, her loyal dog, his head so curiously cocked ~
surely thinking, 'When I'm top dog, that's how I will rock'

EXERCISE

His second wife
walked four to five miles
per day, every day and
recorded the distances each
day on her personal fitness
monitor!

His first wife
had worked equally hard
every day, vigorously walking
back the previous day’s comments
before preparing very carefully for
the exhaustive requirements of
the next day’s workout!

Stressed Verses Stress Free

Being stressed out
Is what causes illnesses
So, you start a special diet
And you workout daily
To relieve the
Pinned up stress
But you’re also in
A relationship that’s
Stressing you out
So, even though you’re trying
To relieve stress
You’re also still stressed
Because you love that person
What’s the solution
It’s easier said than done.

Workout

muscle bound
gaining pound after pound
triceps, biceps, lats, a cut up back.

Push ups, sit ups, crunches to create a six pack,
tuna fish, chicken, fruits and veggies for a snack.

Summer is here, I can't do without
Bronze body tan, so devout.
This work-out.

One Half

A sailboat floats without a sail.
It’s like a shovel minus pail
Or else a hammer sans a nail,
One half of what is needed.

A tennis court without a net,
An error made with no regret;
A workout lacking any sweat,
A rye bread that’s unseeded.

A birthday passing with no cake,
A pile of leaves without a rake.
In every case, a true mistake
If no one interceded.

Look Up To God

People don't look up to me.

Look up to the one and only,

God, the man who made me

And everything. Don't worship

Me. Worship Him. Live and

Workout in God's gym. If I

Had not given myself away,

So that God could use me.

There is no telling where I

Would be. People don't,

Look up to me.Look up in

The sky to God ,the big guy.
