Dream Song
Will you read
the snow on the grass knitting
the big eyebrows

of moon at night
which will never know hidden
hands of a wetland ?

The tears implant
green circles on cheek.
Spring was coming back....

Patient Death
High
above
rich wetland
a lone kestrel .

Patient death beating,
fixed in measureless blue.

Elegant white swans swim through
rare grasses greeting migrating
geese sliding in with the setting sun.

Darkness falls, who will sing the requiem?...

Sand In My Shoes
.
.
We walk passed the
wetland wash
in the sanctuary of birds
onto the beach.
.
We see the osprey mother
in her nest of branches
on top of famous
Target Rock;
.
and out in the sound,
the head of a black monster
flickers back and forth
below the moving surface....

Amazon Tree
drought in the Amazon, the first time they say, wlth soul-life of millions of trees gone away, not there to pray for their watery keep, drought in the wetland, not making oxygen to keep, is this really ok, no bloody way, a price way too steep... re: Russell Sivey "Natures Harmony" Don Johnson

Premium Member Elemental Ring Chain
Grey vapour sated clouds extend their chain
Of rainy bursts and torrents at a glance
The hoarse throat whine from canyons weren’t in vain
As green shoot tillers bow to circumstance
Rush petals weave a chain of svelte romance
On river banks where oak beam timbres fall
Coy sika deer among his peers may crawl
Beyond that wetland canvass oiled at birth
An embryonic chain encodes its wall
With nascent human trails to cosmic mirth...

Premium Member The Wetlands
as swallows land and swifts take flight
inside late noon’s last shards of light
the chill winds that descend on day
cause dense green swathes of reeds to sway
across the flooded vista’s ground
in harmony with nature’s sound
of shrills that echo through the air
from birds and insects everywhere
while stars with room to breathe and shine
light up a land divorced from time
to show the beauty and true worth
of life in balance here on earth....

A Loss
Fear usually gripped my nerves
I dreaded broken bottles my heart perchance be served
To a wetland I could lose you
Little I thought of the deadwood
Ready I to send to the urn any jostler
Alas the heart I guarded against the living,
had a suitor waiting at the great gulf course in the sky
I couldn't compete with his riz
He snatched you with ease.
All I have now are memories
I am pained by your silence, Amy
Tell me you hate it where you are,please...

Without You
As a boat that loses its course
sans your love there is no route ,
I am nobody, I am to be idle ...

    Without your angelic strength,
I'm only a cold winter soul
as someone who only knows hell
    and travel darkest wetland ...

    You are my finest illusion,
you are the blood of my heart
you are the lifeblood of my life ....

Without you I am only agony,
I'm a sad way without joy
      with no arrival, no departure......
