they say he's losing his mind
but he only weeded the garden
they just don't recognize flowers...

Amber Ambiguity
in amber ambiguity
how sweetly it unravels
till there is nothing left behind
just the weeded path I traveled...

noise of thought having receded
base instincts too have been weeded
all that cascades within is bliss
we know now God is all there is
our mind and heart, to Him ceded...

The reindeer vacationed in Denver

For three weeks well into December

     No magic dust needed

To fly – they were “weeded”

But flight plans they couldn’t remember

Blinded Looks
I act like I be lving a life straight yet I know I am crook
I act like my soul isn't lost yet in reality I know by alcohol it is took
Everyday I awake by weeded smells it got my mind always shook
Yeah I know I can be a bad man because I am blinded by looks...

Premium Member She Walks Inside Me
She walks inside me,
Sharp click of boots
Echoing through the caverns

Electric memory blurred fuzzy
Like static on a TV screen
Each step, a tremor in my heart

A rose garden weeded, bleeds
Through my dirt-stained hands
Nicer, neater, but not the same...

Thirst for love aflame in our heart
Erst stirrings of lust receded
Burst of bliss each moment does start
First things first, lower mind weeded

Residual attachments fade
Central funnel within aglow
Brutal clear truth; call spade a spade
Miracle dawns on hearts mellow

Rice
“If you give me rice, I’ll eat today; if you teach me how to grow rice, I’ll eat every day.”
- Quote by Mahatma Gandhi

soil rich, fertile, warm
puddled field, drained well, weeded
panicle to grains
gently harvested
life staple

Premium Member The Mower
The mower will weed the grass
To let the flower plants grow
To let the flowers blossom
To beautify the garden
To give us a better view
To please our eyes
To give us delights
The weeds have to be weeded
And so the bad habits of the children
Throwing rubbish
So that the garden is weed free and rubbish free
Maybe the mower and the early stage of education
Should go together
When the children are still small...

Bad Seed, Weeded Bliss
She brags about everything she has
With childish hyperbole, arrogance, hubris
No humility, no empattthy, no conscience
That's why full of s**t rhymes with narci666tic

Her celebration - - - expecting wedding presents
Blessings and gifts for a child molester?
What would be apropos?
Perhaps a bridal bouquet - - -

Hmmmm - - - how about - - -
A circle of vienna sausages on sticks
Surrounded by an array of baby's breath?...

Outdoor Academy
We decided one day to explore an unknown
Outside weeded playgrounds we'd outgrown

Wearing shorts, no shoes, shirts of cotton
We ventured forward to childhood forgotten

We babbled along by the brook. We hurried
Through orchard grass, running past herds

True abandon. We found God's saving graces
Uttered ours, ate apples, washed our faces

Laying under the spreading evergreen tree
With just smiles, for a while we were free...

Good Morning World
Clouds of grey, scudding by,
Moisture laden, may rain today.
Drifting by the wind doth sigh,
Nothing stirring 'cept the clouds on high.
Dogs come for a stroke and sidle away,
Just sitting and sipping my coffee,
Garden weeded, plants all fed,
Some more bulbs planted in a compost bed.
Sun now warming as dark clouds depart,
Deep blue sky and clouds of white,
Another day in Cyprus starts just right.

Fun
The leaves are falling
this I find appalling
winter is calling
But
a welcome break from
leaves needing raked
removal of dead snake
Then
grass that needs mowed
dead branches towed
flowers need tended
And
defects in lawn mended
choices for changes defended
dirt dug, joints screaming
Now
results bring new meaning
to weeded mess
now blessed
with roses and mums
Not work but
FUN
Can't wait till next year
to start all over again...

Dildo
She opened her daughter's laps
She was counting the number
Of pedestrians that have walked
The path barefooted.
She finally touched something
& the girl screamed.
She was mentioning names now.
My name echoed across the room.
The mother raised her head
& looked, stormed.
I was their gardener, I weeded
Every unwanted grass around
Their home.
But I did not touch her
She only watched my body from
The window & let a dildo
Do the magic....

The Evolutionary Machine
Evolutionary machine churns on and on
love is just a con
what we see is seems simple
to the machine just a dimple
how do we interpret how we feel
we are not even one spoke in a wheel
like ants in a nest
our instincts do not rest
why do we pursue such strange things
maybe one day we will have wings.
The machine craves randomization
Nearly granted in this big population
The machine has succeeded
The unnecessary have been weeded
Our understanding is ace
Mankind won the race...

So Busy
I have pinched, pruned, planted, fertilized and even mowed...
I have dug, dressed, divided, harvested and hoed.

Then I thinned, trimmed, transplanted, sprayed, sowed and staked...
Then I wheeled, watered, weeded, rototilled and raked.

I loosened, limed and layered, that's me; gardening by the book...
But there was one thing I neglected, I was so busy I forgot to look.

My flowers were as beautiful as could be...
And I was so busy I didn't see.

Here We Are
Eight years ago
We started the race
We are still keeping the pace
For we are always good to go.

Many were called
Few were chosen
The few were weeded
Yet we kept on.

Some were cut down in their prime
Some unceremoniously came to the end of their time
Some found better dreams to follow
Others deserted, their endurance's root were so shallow.

But here we are
By God's grace
Daily waxing stronger
Determined to finish the race.

PS: Written on 08/06/13 to mark my eight years in the Nigerian Navy....

Roses, Pansies, Daises, Tulips and Some Maple Trees
Oh, so many flowers blooming
In this tidy little church yard,
Well groomed and weeded, dancing in
These warm summer breezes blowing.
Everywhere I look are flowers
Roses, Pansies, Daises, Tulips,
Growing over those departed
Who, like me admired their beauty.
Well kept, these grounds and flowers too,
Tall Maples growing here and there,
As is this old white painted church
With so many flowers blooming.
