The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth

Thirst for love aflame in our heart
Erst stirrings of lust receded
Burst of bliss each moment does start
First things first, lower mind weeded

Residual attachments fade
Central funnel within aglow
Brutal clear truth; call spade a spade
Miracle dawns on hearts mellow

Thanks Regina! I’m not a Christian by religion but something along these lines is from the Bible actually, if I’m not mistaken. Edit: Matthew 5:5, says Google!

A very thought provoking piece. Nicely done. Sometimes when our first love comes along we think it should last forever but it is only infatuation. Sometimes we kiss a lot of frogs before we find a prince. A fine write. God Bless, JB

Thanks Judy! Lust fleeting, love enduring, former seizing, latter outpouring. Happy you enjoyed!
