Water Brush At Dusk
God made you,
Adam with water brush,
At dusk
Then, he made
This world of
Watercolors with
Just the
Barest of brushstrokes...

Regrets
Memories torn apart
And left forgotten
Like an artist's box
Of watercolors,
Now hard and dry,
Sometimes make paths
Within my heart
Waking my soul
To what I am and
What I want to be....

Painted Love
I look in your eyes
And see the love you have for me
You see into my heart
And see it as your canvas
I see into your heart
Made up of my watercolors
Paint it white, yellow, or blue
Each shade will always say
I LOVE YOU...

The Hues of Yesterday
The muted tones of yesterday...
Soft pastels of kids at play--
Lovers on a summer's day,
Charcoals of a moonlit May.

But watercolors fade away--
So too, the moonbeam's downy ray.
Some paintings seem to change that way...
How fleet, the hues of yesterday!

Reading In Bed
Languid and luscious wet
like watercolors I lay near
pillows seeking words
in a writer’s space riding
the story coursing
with compassion freely I drop
the book crested crimson
melts into hot rose petals soft
and succulent rising
into you falling into you...

Boundless Deep Inside
In fact, extreme lonely I am, floating in the infinite space
Learning formless choices
Flying like a balloon in the distant sky.

The big sea inside me is an endless mist
Just pictures and orchard with flowers and fruits
Lot of images rise, paint them with tears
Watercolors shed tears under the chest....

Curiosity during the time of new connections, is when self portraits are painted for each other, remember filling in the numbered spaces of the watercolors of our youth? Once pictures are completed, the stories we now are living, and thoughts unique to each, can frame and cover with glass, the pictures of our past....

One L
...I bring your name up
 in one-sided conversations
 that take place in empty
 rooms. Four walls, no windows
 1 canvas.

 I am sending you postcards
 from watercolors
 that wash away
with ease---I am chasing your memory.

You loved with an expiration date.

I am loving now in permanent
 ink.

Premium Member wearable art
Some artists utilize watercolors
Others dabble in clay
Some quilt
Others know ribbon embroidery

Some artists add glitter and sequins
Pearls, feathers, taffeta and other fluff
I like artists who think outside the norm
This artist wears her art

It is wearable art, she tells me
And it is for sure
she is the ultimate artist
I am proud to know her...

Poetic Brushstrokes
~ I painted my dreams on the cloud covered heavens Poetic brushstrokes I hope to come true In soft watercolors the shade of forever Then signed them with love and sent them to you In hopes you would find along the horizon These November wishes as night comes to be And know in your heart the artistic meaning My every dream is you here with me ~

Watercolors
l live amidst
a watercolor world,
The colors they are many. (colors)
Blue it seems I
feel that way more
often than I care to.
Pink and purple in
the sunset that I so love.
Green all around me
in everything that grows.
You see I have my own
set of watercolors that
Make up a beautiful rainbow
that flows across the sky
for everyone to see.

Premium Member Retreat At Twilight Beach Nk
two flamingos
they are peach
as the sun
they are one
romantic
sans frantic
so peaceful
at twilight beach

solitude of calming passion
at lakeside, they are sweet
watercolors blending
one leg is ascending
not shallow, love is deep
the painting makes me weep
i hold it to my heart
from life’s sorrows, i take retreat
