Retreat At Twilight Beach Nk

two flamingos
they are peach
as the sun
they are one
romantic
sans frantic
so peaceful
at twilight beach

solitude of calming passion
at lakeside, they are sweet
watercolors blending
one leg is ascending
not shallow, love is deep
the painting makes me weep
i hold it to my heart
from life’s sorrows, i take retreat
