Lost Somewhere In Time
I Used to wax and wain, perigee and apogee

I used to flow harmoniously with the rest of humanity

so eclectic now I lack identity

To ebb and float sounds like serenity

but i tell you my friend it's complete insanity

to know for certain that all is vanity...

National Gallery London
National Gallery London

I visited the National last week,
Famous gallery in Trafalgar Square,
Viewed in awe, John Constables Hay Wain
and other grand masters displayed there.
The original Sunflowers by Van Gogh.
Gainsborough and Matisse there to see.
In truth wasn’t struck by the Lily Pond,
Monet didn’t leave an impression on me....

Wise Hearts
Wise hearts travel from days long gone;
Trials endured
No respite in sight,
To hope hold tight.
Seek wisdom,
When winter comes,
Causing flesh its chance to be redeemed
Though dark night seemed
Unending;
Unrelenting.

Spring at last arrives,
Transforming hope survives,
Despite its wain
Throughout the rain;
New dawn brings life
For wise hearts enduring....

Premium Member Prelude To the Night
Prelude to the Night

DULCET words were WHISPERED in an ELOQUENT fashion
With all the SPLENDOR that was due such action.

The LAVENDER was LILTING to and fro-
FRAGRANCE WAFTING to her nose.

Wilting with rhythm of word and wain
the Lady would TRANQUIL and BLISSFUL remain.

Their romance hidden from our sight.
Something they would share that night....

The Last Drive
She parked you in the scrap yard.
You bought the hose and tape on your card.
Works pilling on the pressure.
You left a detailed letter.
Your health is on the wain.
The carbon dioxide will kill the pain.
I can see no change in sight.
You picked your spot and parked at night.
Relationships are just a scream.
The hose connected the car was sealed, all done in a dream.
A future you can not see.
So you just turn the car key
and in a haze my troubles fade away....

Strong Lass
I'm really glad that I'm a strong lass
To get through all this pain from my past.
Each day something new comes along
And it hits me with a blow.
When one thing goes away
Another comes in tow.
Problems ,problems is all I see,
Why I ask?is it always me.
It gets harder day by day
It never seems to go away.
How does one get so much pain
Growing up as a wain.
Then go an to affect my ain.
I guess I will never know
Until is my time to go
Until then I'll never know....
