Burnout

There was an electrician from Nashes
Who worked in darts and dashes.
One day especially rushed
Against 240 volts he brushed.
Now Nashes is home to his ashes.

Premium Member After the Downpour

Volts of lightning
Roaring rumbling thunder
Stormy evenings

Spectrum of lights
Reflecting rainbow's end
Past the downpour

Laughter of kids
Playing, running all around
Clear skies happiness

Nourishing Dream's Smile

alluring eye's flute
pulse soars up drum bits in heart
                                   sings sight's lovely song

                                    gentle zephyr soothes
                              thousand cool volts' zap awakes
                                   nourishing dream's smile

The Herons Fly

As he spreads his wings
The wind flutters the feathers
Against a heron-dotted sky
Of deepest dark
A strong wind to fly
As granite boulders blackly rumble
Deepest voice as raindrops tumble
Down towards
The heron’s crown
The fields ablaze
With electric haze
And an ozone stench spices
As volts and death splices
The scene into a triptych

The Rat Race 2

for years
and years
i've been
running
this tread
mill

if i knew
i was in a
race just to
produce
electricity for
you

i would have
hooked the
battery to
my brain
and have
run

myself
insane
with volts
of bolts of
electro
shock

therapy
but instead
i ran and
then
one
day

hopped
off and
let you
instead
become
insane

Warning

It is really much better you see
If you don't touch this red wire at all
You will light up like a Christmas tree
And smoke like a leaf pile in the Fall
We are moving some really big volts
That will kill you as dead as a stone
We know that the world is full of dolts
Please, please, please...leave that red wire alone

All I Ever Wanted

All I ever wanted was for someone to love me.
To
Look deep into my soul
See the cracks on the floor.

Excavate my caves
Only to stand up to the waves.
Dive through the abyss
And come greet me with a kiss.

Touch me where it hurts
Feel one-thousand volts of Hertz.
Use different kinds of techniques
To patch up my leaks.

Cause all I ever wanted was you.

Gossips

As if to spy upon
some rapt adjourn
more devellish
than their own ~
existing for the slug of virtue
from some forgotten dream

Their aim ~
outdated with resent
yet stealthy earned.
Their ears, like prodding volts
reversed to bring return.

Life's focus ~ now forgotten
with its yearn,
seeking noticed space
that all but clutters . . .
     nothings
     scorn!

That Damn Electric Blanket

I bought an electric blanket and wound up nearly dead.
I got electrocuted two months ago when I wet the bed.
As 110 volts went through my body, it really hurt as I was being fried.
For some reason it made me impotent, it would've been better if I had died.
I wrote to the electric blanket's manufacturer and it was a nasty letter.
They wrote back and said that it's not their fault that I'm a bed wetter.

Premium Member A BLACKPOOL TRAM

A distant mumble, a muffled drum roll.
Seconds on, come the serious decibels.
Heavy rumbling with sharp percussions.
Squeal of the steel; wheel scraping on the rail.
Metal clatter loudens then dies to silence.
Spent fares alight and new fares climb aboard.

Ting ting. The cream and green is off again,
Above it, brief flashes of lightning blue
As straying volts are lost to salty air.
Soon far off the rumbling fading away.

Premium Member I Wonder Which One Will Get Me First

I am getting strangle my the myriad
of wires surrounding me
in many colors, shapes and sizes
with all kind of plugs and prongs

I am getting zapped by all the electronic
equipment in the world
with all kinds of power surges
of different volts, amps and watts

I am getting stifled by all the
power seeking people around me
in many colors, shapes and sizes
with all kinds of power surges

I wonder which one will get me first.

Engineering Love Poem

I am an Electrical Engineer
But was alone and all was dark
Beneath me and above
My life was full of volts and amps
But not the spark of your love
So will you be the start of my sinusoid?

Dawn in the twilight
With you am on a flight
Your feelings I can't fight
Your beauty is stuck in my sight
My gift from the Lord almighty
Heart full of generousity
Hoovering my religion from Islamic to Chrstianity.
Love...Are you be ready to visit my sub-county.
