Dirty Limerick: Old Man,Part 2

Preparing his conference speech
Old man ended up on nude beach
By virtue or vise
He stuck his device
In each blowhole he could reach

Tools For Stools

Poop stuck in the hole
push to purge without success
Get me the vise grips!

Start your day

With a vise-like grip

About its throat

And shake the living sxit

Out of it, then

finish with a wink,

An aside to nature,

who worries for you

more than you may think.

Roll of the Dice

Pushing ahead,
doubtless clarity
fills your head.

On retrospection
is when you see
errors in decision.

Hey, hey, life is a dice -
roll it, pray you get lucky,
otherwise, caught in a vise!

There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief.

Happiness in Memoriam

Each neuron tingles with happiness, in unnerving vise.
Presently, the squeeze of brain, heart and grit, unbearable.
The lion’s faint, tin clatters, straw pieces pecked, crows gather.

Ambushed

waterside vigil
buffalo nears water hole
lions crouch low nearby

three-pronged ambuscade
buffalo calf culled from herd
swift pincer attack

quarried prey springs forth
stressed calf serpentines about
lead lion cuts angle

driven toward snare
flanks assaulted from both sides
vise tightened prey clasped

The Darkening Other Side

Ingenuity underlying unites position made,
Darkness internal vise impression.

Imaginary dare ceremony toy youthful different.
Leave sensitive,
Committing regret journey,
Assuring brighter deepening beliefs.

Smile thence composed,
Chose hung injured.

Evil assures agitations lowest.

Reflections of a Man

A man is but a vision,
Cast by his lifes shadows.

His heart is pressed with the vise of his own desires.

Scared by the wrongs that he has endured,
Yet his hopes and dreams have not faded.

He stands strong and proud,
As firm as a rock within a mountain.

His roots buried deep,
So that he may drink from the waters of life.

His reflection is not unjust.
Its that his picture is not yet finished.

Roses Are Red

Roses are red

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Do one to me as I’d do un to you
What if I told you violets are red instead of what you perceive to be blue
The stars are 300 thousand suns, times distance to you
Marvel at experiencing existence
The ashes of the Phoenix rise up in abstract vividness
What we are is positively limitless
So when you ask me why roses are blue
And violets are red
Vise versa instead

Congressional Conserve

Then void the footprints so demur,
wherein once walking, my feet pure
now doomed to stalking, faith as cure
the vise I deemed as caulking, minus stir ~

My country, silence balking
truth to serve
retreat while there is lacking
moment's lure!

What then is counteracting
what reserve
the led are never leaders
pretense verve!

To keep thy promise keeping
        keep your nerve
you backed away my seeking ~
. . . . . with conserve!

Premium Member No Explain

Fear causing visceral strain
nausea rises like the moon,
full and vain;
not enough……..
never enough……..
greed without end……….

What more is there to gain?

Choking on the tension,
the pleasers refrain.
Gagging on the longing
the loneliness,
the pain.

No excuse.
No explain.

Rest awhile these aged bones…
in the space between
between one breath and the next
meditation is the thing.

Just breathe and
loose the vise again.

Sublime

My eyes are stinging, burning,

            tears scalding down my face,

my heart is in a vise of guilt

                                             as I wallow in disgrace.

I dread the Karma I've created

                      in this lousy, crazed lifetime.

                                 How I've damaged my children,

                                                  the punishment, sublime.

The Edge of No Tomorrow

Sick of the sorrow

Throw it all away

Leave room for tomorrow

Live on yesterday and today

Move forward

Move on

Don’t go backward

Like vise-versa dusk to dawn

I was on the edge of no tomorrow

Give me faith, Lord, not sorrow

Give me a reason to overcome

The waves of emotions

I succumb to the feeling of numb,

Crossing a thousand oceans

Just to reach to you

Just to hear your voice again

Shine on, grow on, smile on

Policewoman - Investigated

She's a skilled fighter
Nests a fire-breathing dragon
Rests in the barrel of her gun
The rumble of thunder

Just a drop of her blood
The badge stood crime still
Time froze in her powerful spill
Injustice fertilised the ground

Against all tradition, she's a knight
Hidden beauty behind the vise
Maiden on the wings of justice
An angelic armour shinning light

I drink daily from her mug
A fresh cop of her love
Full of peace like a dove
Her shield protects me like a bear hug
