Disquiet alarm
Sleepless unhappiness
Bored disaffection
Fearful agitation
Despondent hostility
Hysterical loneliness
Covid-Nineteen
Still in it’s teens
Quarantine to be days fourteen
If no virus in one seen
Can go home it’s mean!
Sweat and saliva
The dual to shine in the game of cricket
Saliva caught by virus
Sweat rushed to be alone at the wicket!

a Senryu poem
Oh, that my love were
contagious - you’d catch it and love
me, as I do you.
Ahh-choo!
Force expressions penned
The muse has gone on vacation
It did not want to hang around
To see the virus' mutation
The ***********
It has no brain
yet it outsmarts
many little red funny caps
thanks to them
xi virus
will be great again
agonizing world
the ominous virus fights
ascending souls chant!

I'm finally back.
My puter crashed and we had to have it wiped clean and fixed. Think we had a virus.

The Virus
Haiku: by Tom
1/7/2021
This virus is like
putting socks on a Rooster,
and baby that’s hard.
Making us staying at homes
Masking our faces
Red flood taken Jenggot
Red Sea also a virus?
(Jenggot,a village in Indonesia)
Virulent life-form
ravages its fragile host.
Conclusion: excise!

Good news so affirmative
I'm glad result is negative
Thank God for faith assertive
Virus test shows I'm not positive.
This disastrous Covid-19
Is the worst virus there's ever been
It's mass destruction
Is causing corruption
On the political scene
the world is on fire
Its people are starving
the virus will kill
three hundred thousand soon
so
we fire a rocket to the moon
Hurrah or hooray
Does it matter
How you say,
Or spell the words
On that happy day
When we hear
The dreadful virus
Has gone away
airborne pathogens
fenced world out of kilter
impulse to Mars brews
Haiku composed: August 21, 2020
horrific virus
mankind's dreams has chased away
helping each other!

The God of Pandemics is silly
Displaying less sense than a lily
The rest of us know
The virus can't grow
Where no one has a 6' willie!
burkas banned in France
yet since covid nineteen spread
everyone wears masks

A Virus Christmas
Haiku: by Tom

made Christmas like no other;
but Jesus still reigned.
put this in your rack
it attacks
thats a face
where it cover your face
this virus has no race
keep until it fade
DEATH HAS NO
AGES
new york has it bad
her quadzillions of people
social distance ha
new York is so sad
one step equals meeting
most will not wear mask
The world is haunted
a virus daunts its victims
undoing voyage
racing minds fearful
afraid to let our soul breathe
challenge of ages
