Escape was impossible
I found refuge in spots on a ceiling
The folds of wallpaper
Slowly
        Fading
                    into the spot

Abandoning consciousness

Life is a vanishing point
from birth to death
looking down the road
our vision lost by illusion of
a foreseen ending
every day we live
the further we search
we are still lost in an illusion
life is a perspective
put into art
by horizontal vertical roads
we have put ourselves on
life is something so far out of view
it vanishes before we even reach the end....

My Experience In the Hospital Campus Tunnels
Iron monsters
with bearded men astride,
stir a whirlwind
crashing past me howling warnings
then evanesce into silence.

A man dressed
like an angel
concludes by saying, "take care"
before sallying forth
down the long cement block corrider.

I walk through the tunnel,
surrounded by multicolored tubes.
Figures in uniforms grow near then diminish
into vanishing point
entrances to new encounters....

Outshined
Lord bless the nihility
of spirit and entity
'cause my mind is pallid
like a deaf actor
in a silent film
but I'm not craven
just frowned and mortal
antique in the name
of a poetic justice
hesitating no more
sleepwalking in time
one of the nervous eaters
I'm the oxygen moron
joining the armies
of heavenly damned
to luminize the libretto
at vanishing point
wounded and mesmeric
never mind the bollocks
whatever they say
I'll always complain...
