I tried to write a mini verse
with twenty five words.
Ideas rushed for poetic expression.
Counting words made tension rise,
left the poem unwritten.
Unspoken words linger on my mind. Silence cried a river of tears
Perhaps those are unwritten words ought to be read in everyone's hearts.

Ladies don't go into bars
Ladies don't go into service stations, nor parts stores nor tire stores.
Ladies don't go to war.
We've come a long way BABY!
They are sending us to the front lines!! Yikes!!

Is a dream not yet awake
A soundless slumber

Hangs on an autumnal tree

Silence is
The continuations
Of what was not said
There we are--
Lost-- all of us--
