Critical Race Theory Tom’s Opinion 11/5/2021 We’re teaching racism by exposing our young minds, to classroom untruths.

I See Gulls

Sea Gulls are horrible creatures,

they should, at least, be friendly.

They sit on the roofs, telling untruths.

I think they are plotting to end me.

I Love You In Clear

I love you in clear
So I can see right through
Your unlimited untruths
You secrete speciousness
As I absorb accuracy
So unmatched are we
So finished
So final
So spent

TREATING PEOPLE UNFAIR

if you think about
life and how people treat you
most treat you bad and...

they find nothing good
nothing good in you so they
speak untruths and lies

Ink

Poetry like your love reveals all my untruths. It is amazing how naked our words can make us. Poets we are. Servants only to the ink which exposes us. Ambiguous in nature but defining in language.

Poets, my ink is your forever yours.

Away,
go,away
      I'll not play
your game;

Begone,
false words
     have no part
in truth;

Deceit
drips lies
     to lubricate
its ego;

Untruths
manipulate,
     and selfishly
control;

Depart,
I'll not listen
     to your wiles..

Closed

Promises shift like
windblown sand skids over the truth
[omission doesn’t count?]
     unspoken untruths rearrange rippled dunes,
chafe cheeks, bloody chins.

A place is saved for you, oh thief of honor,
at the end of a long line
     of perjurers.
You are in just company.

Untitled

Slim pickings are there when
Untruths speak with delicate
Tongues and that is when
Grace escapes me.

Entering every orifice is an
Unsacred vibration
Grotesque in nature.

Like a vacuum it seems
Escape is impossible.

Baiting the Dove

I, too, have tasted the evil of hatred
when all I wanted to share was my love.
With untruths and lies I was baited
because the hue of my skin wasn’t as white as the dove.

Mercilessly unloved and hated,
Hatred and love baited the dove, mercilessly.

From my poem: ‘Love over Hate’ submitted on 03/07/2026.

Premium Member Some Religious Wolves In Clothing

Uncontrolled lustful defiling, dirty and inciting
The profaning of holy sanctuary
Wolves amongst gentle lambs
The greedy and money hungry

The un-sharing and un-caring
Deceitful with, 10% truth and 90% untruths.
These are itching ear promoters, abusers and users.
If the money were gone, they would be gone also.

Premium Member The Scammer

Deception in the form of lies

Untruths unknown to no bound

Deciet that becomes concrete

A snare meant to trap its prey

Unknowingly, unsuspected get caught

The wise and cunning

Will see thru what is presented

In the web some will get caught

Others will not

If it is a scam you find

Scanners like to play with your mind

Working Gal

The high-class Prostitute life
Her life full of secrets and lies
Untruths and betrayals are rife
But this life she vehemently denies

Her daughter, left to fend for herself
No choice but to grow up quick
Her needs shoved to the back of a shelf
Forgotten as the dust layers grow thick.

Premium Member -Before You Judge

You have judged me from lies told
Labeled me not OK
Decided to avoid me
Keep the likes of me at bay
~
You have listened to untruths
Told to many not only you
Yet in silence l remain steadfast
As to myself l stay true
~
Open your eyes and heart
See me for who l truly am
For l am not what I’ve been portrayed
I should not be unfairly damned

Premium Member He's angry and hurt

President Biden is angry and hurt
as the press and his party
devalue his worth.
He's disrespected and told he's too old,
while his challenger spews untruths
yet gains in the polls and
Project 2025 slowly unfolds..
Americans want Trump so
that's what their getting,
regardless of our President
with so much more vetting.
Read Project 2025, it's
extremely upsetting..

Lies

Wonderful words that have no true meaning
You say it all so beautifully but there is no true feeling
Why say words you do not mean?
What you say makes me feel unclean
Truth would be a better thing
The words would finally be an awakening
To see you as you really are
Would finally make me say au revoir
Away from your lies and bold untruths
To finally become at last astute

A Broken Pride

A leap into death bed.
The water of life
had sucked you dry.

Tracking a subtle sound,
I was chasing you
in the jungle of untruths.

You being in the crowd,
I was locating the god’s
vision in failing lights.

Who was hiding behind
the torn pages of
scriptures ? The words

had started bleeding.
O, my god, the man was
going to defile a beast !

Brown, white, black and yellow?
Human being mellow:
Why live untruths shallow?

You versus us and we?
Fighting with self-pity:
Why all this cruelty?

Race all over the place?
Squabbling over mad space:
Why just for your proud face?

Hatred breeds more terror?
Fear breeds greedy horror:
Why indulge more terror?

Seeking

Seeking, searching For only God's truth Chattering flows Noises build intensly Calm my spirit Point me where I need go Let only Your Words Remain in my heart All untruths and vanity Need sift out from me Seeking, I search For You alone Let me stand before You With truth in my heart Shower me in Your Peace Let Your Spirit flow through me

No Santa!!??

What do you do
When you discover
That superman is fiction
That Santa is a fake
How do you handle
The pain
Do you remain
Composed
Seemingly not phased
Or do you tell someone
To lesson the disdain
What state
Of mind do you take
Do you want people to know
Do you want to show
How naive you were
To learn that your hero
Has never been one
In the web of untruths
Your world has been spun

Political News Stump Fodder For Today 2/27/2018 Tom There’s little, more depressing, than network news, Much appears bogus or some politician’s spun views. Many stories reported parallel an opinionated rant, And each congressperson has his/her own unique slant. Reputations are besmirched with untruths each day, And lives destroyed by the salacious things they say.

2020 Presidential Election

Candidates
Rallies tonight
Express their views
But is it news?
No mercy, insult each other
Forget we are all soul brothers
A country is at stake, they forget
Ego, arrogance, untruths, false
promises, lies, exaggerations,allegations
All want to be President of this Great Nation
What about us..what about us..just who to trust?

Not This Day

I put my heart out,
Little by little
Until I stumbled
On the boundary
And injured my
Enthusiasm.

Such vanity
Must be crushed
Romantic folly
Despises the
Ancient myths
The untruths.

The blur of delusion
Lays low in a
Field of traps,
Where I often walk
Alone, exploring
Phantom thoughts.

But not for long
These troubles
Get pushed away
Lessons learned
Disappointment
Not this day.

Premium Member 'The Painting'

You have to tell your own story
Don't let someone else come into your house and mess on your canvas
Don't let them distort your beauty with untruths
Remember the colors you choose
Remember the strokes of the brush
It's all on you
When you take a step back and look at your painting you should be proud

Don't pay a second thought to what others might think
This painting is your masterpiece

The One

Staying out late at night she is a taker of substance
with a golden tongue she speaks untruths
all with out reluctance.

Like a captured pray I dangle from her web
I am slowly being devoured
very soon I will be dead.

Where is my defender from this torment
my soul cries for mercy
yet the sorrow remains consistent

So little I would not have done
my love was true as I lay now the prisoner
of her----- "the one".
