Lies

Wonderful words that have no true meaning
You say it all so beautifully but there is no true feeling
Why say words you do not mean?
What you say makes me feel unclean
Truth would be a better thing
The words would finally be an awakening
To see you as you really are
Would finally make me say au revoir
Away from your lies and bold untruths
To finally become at last astute

I really like this and relate to it. It does make me feel so yucky when someone is lying to me, then and if I find out later too I find it best to be away from it too. Lines flowed and rhymes were natural. Good one!

Some people lie because they have no self worth and when found out it becomes worse for them. Sad indeed thank you for the visit and kind words. Blessings Edith
