Autumn's Mornings

tiny crystal balls
on an early autumn morn
dew drops on grass tips

unfeathered birds' nests
shells around the baron trees
three are on the wire

blankets of colours
brown, red, orange, and yellow
pathed the forests' floors

Evolution Ii

... the swimmer
swam up the tube
within a frantic assemblage
of other swimmers
pushing
shoving
striving
writhing
towards an egg queen serene
in a womb room needing
swimmers for seeding
begetting gametes to collide
and form a more perfect union as
a zygote only a mother could love.
Fish-eyed unfeathered fetus
eons
     beyond
           the beginning.

The Laysan Albatross

We are mislabeled as sea birds and should be called big birds, like that yellow one but we're not yellow. We never land on land for a year or longer, and we been told that we have known God since he was a little boy. The unfeathered say that for a very long time we're like many fishes in the sea, but now we are like whales. The few of us left, live in the north atolls of Hawaii. There's no other place in the world except for oceans, seas, bays ... forget what I said.

My Darling Charming Song

a song is charming, And so are you; my darling Orchids are white, And so you're sweet as a summer flower The effect is dazzling, as your eyes; my darling Foxgloves in hedges, Unfeathered angles surround the farm Heads are bald, And so are your arms. pretty are your eyes the effect is dazzling, And your smile. White of blue is beautiful, Just like you As I sing to you my charming song
