Object of desire.
Funny phrase. I mean
How ridiculous!
Fantasy's best scene
Viewed through passion's fire
Oughta be more keen
Oughta be more dire
Than mere object.

Stick In Your Eye

Under the knife with a poke and a prod
That tube's stuck in where, say what, oh my God
Pain throbs to the nth degree
Everytime Willie goes pee
Putting something in there should be outlawed

Don't know how much time I have left But I'm certainly determined gonna enjoy the rest A real stress-free life Never under the knife Won't break the spell for which I've been blessed

Premium Member Same Lame

Since you were fixed under the knife your perfect face renewed your life. But darling, mine remains the same - your attitude is pretty lame. I’d pay a fortune to revoke your face… except I’m badly broke. February 1, 2023 Sponsor: Line Gauthier Contest: Bite Size

The Surgery

Today is the day,I go
under the knife.
I could even lose my life.

It was rough,and it
was tough.
I can say,I've had enough.

It's all over now,
and I can see.
God was really,
looking out for me.

He saved my life,
and set me free.
So I could pray,
for you, and me.

It changed my life,
Oh, you bet!
But,you see,the Lord
isn't done with me,
quite yet!

Dying Twice

We all have two forms of life,
One is physical,
With broken bones as strife,
But one is mental.

The physical life,
Ends when we die,
Possibly under the knife,
Or just with a final sigh.

The mental ends,
When someone respected,
Takes our dreams and bends,
When least expected.

They put you down,
Until you no longer try,
Make your inner child frown,
Then die.

Words Made of Breath

Words Made Of Breath

Words made of breath come soft
Under the knife of night like silk on air
How correctly they pass through lead
Solids are not their friend
Words live above the grass on oxygen
Particles of dust, bugs and warm winds
Disseminated, taking on measured meaning
The inaudible invisibles
Unencumbered in the dark
Words made of breath are taken in
Exhaled, gentle to the touch
They say so much

Surgery

The feeling I feel about you in my life is a feeling I never felt before.
And if something ever happe to you ,I don't think I could live without you anymore.
So every time you go under the knife, I almost feel like I'm losing my mind.
I hope and pray to god your fine and well.
But my negative thinking just takes over my mind.
Oh how I wish these bad days would pass in the night,So by morning you would
be in my arms and be alright.

Puzzle

Shattered and cracked,
My soul is split.
I lay broken,
Another empty night,
The story of my life,
Living under the knife.
Splintered like a shard of glass,
My thoughts go unspoken,
Yet tonight will be different,
Maybe it’s time to rewrite,
Choose another fight,
Searching myself for the missing piece,
No mirror can reflect what is not there,
But she is the perfect fit,
Standing by my side,
She is the one to complete me,
Forever,
Endlessly.

When her vision began to blur
She thought a trip to the Optometrist was the cure
But upon her visit she got bad news
It was a tumor that was blurring her views

She would need a neurosurgeon
To correct this situation
Her surgery was scheduled in two weeks
She hoped the outcome wouldn't be bleak

Family and friends gathered by her bedside
Prayers and tears were supplied
Everyone seemed calm, though they were in shock
Suddenly.... she was awoken by her alarm clock!......

Numb Citizen

Another numb citizen anaethetized to atrocity by forever exposure,
Another perfect being being perfected under the knife of celebrity,
Another beautiful animal lungs & fur stained black by industry,
Another blunted soul mind mundaned by menial labour,
Yet another poet, throwing numb, perfect, beautiful, blunted prose to the wilting world,
Praising the invisible she with recycled words, Hailing who knows who through the smog of
society with his attempts at lucidity.

Note: This is fiction, but, sadly, many first wives get dumped for younger women.

He says he loves her . . .

With senses reeling
	and edges blurred,
I'm frozen in shock, unable to pull
my heart from under the knife.

I've loved him from childhood.
My purpose, my identity,
my very self, effaced
by him, our two sons
and one daughter.

Everything I've known
sliced away in one crushing blow -
three spoken words.

He says he loves her.

Nothing In Life Is Perfect

At last found a soul sent from above
Finally working at a job that I love
For a short time the ride has been great
Alas nothing in life goes at perfect rate
By my own hand demonized by offspring
Heart slowly decaying and unwilling to operate
Terrorizing body and soul with an ugly sting
Under the knife - heart, body and soul
To mend what’s broken is the goal
If I should not make it through let it be known
I was happy for a moment or two
Nothing in life is perfect it’s only on loan

You Can Call Me Sir But I Guess You'Re Gonna Have To Call Me -

I just KNEW I was a woman
a woman inside a man’s body
therefore I went under the knife
(My surgeon said it went well)

But when I looked in the mirror
I was appalled and yes, horrified
Even after applying makeup
and donning a push-up bra
I was just plain----Ug-LEEE
(We shan’t discuss chest-down)

Thus, I had a change of heart
I wanted to restore my manhood
and kindly asked my doctor
for a reverse operation...

Wanna know what she told me??
“GIRL, you ain’t got the BALLS”...
