Uncertainly
I ask thee
Why I am speaking
Victorianly?...

Death
I will be dead one day
Inevitably
Then or now...
I must not die every day
Uncertainly
In my mind....

Certainty
I’m sure I know with certainty,
That I know quite much, uncertainly.
The age born birth did behold
Trepidations of great certain cold.
Please grant me warm uncertainty,
Where I know my sweet bliss, certainty....

A World of Worlds
Just take a look

At the myriad of universes

Perched upon shoulders and flowing through a crowded sea
Defined In counted parts uncertainly;
An omniverse ready to explore

...for what reason are you waiting for?...

The Gale
THE GALE

The gale twists the grass double,
Pounds the oaktree with its fists,

Shredding the autumn hedge,
Shrieking through cedar shakes,
Howling around old ruins
Where window shutters chatter in fear.

We heave against it uncertainly,
Waiting for the white balm of fog....

Ambivalence
How long obstinate truth will surprise you?
The moment like slippery things
Mixed emotions breath poison
The blue sky in the plain...

Hanging decision uncertainly attacks
Snake of blood that crawls the heart.
To put punctuation mark
In the uncaught wishes
Dust gathers towards Happy-go-line.

Millions of voices alarm self-image.
What's the use of grey documents then?...

Grey Clouds In the Blue Shy
Grey clouds cover the blue sky
The sun, the star, the moon
Are not seen well,
The sky reflects on the sea,
Fogs surround,
The ship is far of beach
Plies slowly, uncertainly
Destination is unknown;

The passengers are feared of
The plight, the long night
Crying misled! Misled!!
Sailors, crew, assistants ugly cry;

The wise are looking for any way
The fool are asleep all the way....

Uncertain
Voices scream, noises sound
Yet our direction is never found,
But is our future still around,
Time has pasted, days have gone,
Our thoughts are clear, but actions blind.
So speak the words and keep them kind.
What do we seek, what do we find
Uncertainly, that clouds our minds,
So stop the silence and keep in line,
To grow with happiness we must speak our mind. .

My Shadow
Why does it follow me wherever I go,
And flicker uncertainly to and fro?
A stalker made of night, perhaps.
But when the lights turn on, it does collapse.
But I don’t want it leave.

It’s a companion, I like to believe.
When loneliness begins to weave
Sullen patterns upon my sleeve,
My shadow seems to sieve
The loneliness out of my soul.

It keeps me whole.
And that is its primary goal....

Not Quite Morning
NOT QUITE MORNING

Early tide not quite

Out, slowly withdrawing

Just enough water to slop around

Jellyfish and mud ripples.

Too deep to walk. Shoes

Uncertainly gripping a shallow sand bar.

A watery beach can ooze

Loneliness : grey sky not quite filled with

Wetness.

Windless, moveless clouds, flat horizon,

Unclearly drawn dawn.

Fall Ing: and I Wish You Were Here
wild fire spreads through the trees
they sway uncertainly
and drop their bright burdens lightly to the floor
my boots make crunchy colorful confetti and i frown
at the people quickly gathering up the flames
with their rakes, burning them
as if they couldn't get rid of the beauty fast enough
i breathe in the smoke and the crisp air
stuffing each lonely hand into empty pockets
head bowed, but with a slight smile
i think of you...

The Last Guy
THE LAST GUY

The music faded, last couple stood momentarily,
Stumbled out while the smoke whisps cleared.
We were reduced to last lees of coffee:
A raincoat man stood uncertainly
Shuffled out with a brief grunt,
Waiter barely turned his head,
Last man drained final dreg,
Fumbled for doorhandle
Holding cold empty cup.
A dark smoky place
No clear way home.
Sad end, sad day.
Sorry for
Him.

I hear the raindrops plop like the sound of a slot unlocked.
I fear the passing dusking as the days of the year leave.

Time is going by so slowly, so surely.
Time is flying by so quickly, so uncertainly.

I feel down as I let out a frown, hoping he cometh home soon.
I lay on the bed as if I am dead, believing His cure shall be a boon.

Time is flowing on, even as my time is almost gone.
Time is going by so fatefully, so mysteriously....
