picnicking twosome
white butterfly flits across ~
pigeons coo nearby
roughhousing children
rustling trees in the distance ~
woman walking dog
"The scent of your light
envelopes all over and
spirits me away from here."
"And thus, I go with
you; the sound of your shadow
snatches me in this half light."
Thought about a threesome when I was younger
Had a twosome twice ending in
A One-some, that’s the one, two three’s of life

Verdant Amazon love birds are smitten with each other
They look enough alive to be twin sister and brother
Their song is in unison, a lovely, loving, lovable trill.
If I am right, this happy twosome is in the Amazon stil
There once was a couple so gay
Who liked to get down and to play
Their giggles so naughty
At thoughts that were smutty
Loved flaunting all conduct risqué

Memory

Though my footsteps have carried me away,
From scenarios littered with vast despair.
Thoughts remind me from whence I came,
And perhaps, why once, I appeared there;
Distance and stretch of time, a twosome,
Which have no bearing on my memory?
Tom
The toddlers were twins
a troublesome twosome
and to them all veggies
looked quite gruesome
when it came to greens
as youngsters go
one fussy the other picky
they really didn't want to know
but urging them to eat their veg
their parents took the stance
with
all we are saying
is
'Give peas a chance!'

ORIGIN OF WANTON 1
WANTON [ won-tn ]
First recorded in 1250; Middle English wantowen, literally,
[adj.] “undisciplined, ill-reared”
[noun] a lascivious person (in this write; persons)
Summer, my bugbear,
Swarms of bugs hum there,
Bare in bed twosome to dare,
One said to its mate,
Ah they seem on date,
And all ready to do that,
Why not we play that?
But it pays still to beware,
And please, none of your old spat!

He was tall and cavalier
Wined me under a chandelier
How he was debonair
With his soft blond curls of hair
Gallant and handsome
Dance moves for a twosome
He swept me right off my feet
With a sultry accent straight from Crete
How could I ever forget that starlit sundown
And that bartender from the other side of town

Would that I were not a cactus,
in a desert, behind the sand dune.
and, see the paining blisters,
on the bare feet of a lover,
whom his beloved would embrace
passionately, unto their last breath.
Would that I were a wild tree,
in a jungle, behind the cliff,
and, listen the love songs,
of love birds, near the brook,
who ,in their twosome union,
scatter beauty of night's fragrance
Moonbeams … Shone On Blossoms …
what a View-full, Twosome
… in the now-closed, Arboretum
and it was An Awesome …
… Quiet, Night-Sight
yet, Sensual – Visual
And The Fragrance, Drifting Around
was Deliciously – Residual
I, must Reschedule
for Another Nocturnal – Delight
These Moonbeams On Blossoms …
is so Opalescence – Bright !
Another Twosome ? …
If You’re Inviting Me Back Again … Right !
We live a good life, there’s no guile--
Life of twosome stranded on isle.
She said with a strange spout
That showed there was some doubt,
What was amiss, just that damned style,
Reality that reigns,
Mankind’s the kind that feigns,
And yet, life has such clout,
Bare few opt to get out,
Life with her wiles winked t’me with smile.

The pigs like to come with a trophy;
A trophy for how foolish you are!
Like these two that proudly defy
What I had set up as a bar!
I had used a wire to fasten a can
That was to serve as a water crepe.
However, the twosome devised a plan
And now display my trick as cheap!
Here's the trophy as I arrive today!
The loosed wire that had fastened
Is now haplessly dangling away
And the fellows look quite emboldened!
Twosome at loggerheads.
Tempers flare now and then!
The referee nowhere...
To be found; good heavens!
Tempest in a teapot.
Trouble in paradise;
The state of their union.

A self-evaluation of life
How did we get there?
Climax tho’ connote performance
Not what think in sex alone
Under the shower or tub, where?
But, climax is the very core
Of success and comfort, not otherwise
Climax alright is climbing the maximum thus define
We set aside malice
We have to analyze and evaluate
How and where we have gone
It is rather holy effort of twosome
Maybe in your aloneness but unimaginable
It has to be between you and me!
No seeds, spinach or carrots around;
no greens, or reds, or oranges found.
Only the smooth sliding elegance
of twosome as one in skating dance.
"Sequined Septuagenarians"
much smoother than fresh-ironed linens.
Golden, gliding glances so well-known,
minute, mellow movements, subtly shown.
A bittersweet moment hangs midair
as dazzling Old Smoothies sway with flair.
Both smoothies are good parcel and part,
but Old Smoothies give rise to the heart.
"Somewhere over the rainbow we'll play", is baby Ella's clarion call,
Doting Aunt agrees and starts with La Ti Do Re Mi Fa Sol,
Tiny fingers move, full of questions, curiosity, in her wonderland small ,
Busy get the twosome, a session filled with love and music all,
Magnum opus of the duette is soon due to enthrall.
