A pirate I knew named Tucker
Was quite a gullible sucker
I mixed his rum with a lime
I said " It'll would taste fine"
So now, He’s a drunken old pucker...

Little Tommy Tucker
You heard about old Tommy Tucker
To me, he’s a real nyuk-nyuker
For he’d make me laugh
When he chugged half & half
And then through his nose he’d up-chucker...

Nose Hair Plucker
A little boy named Nathan Tucker.
Grew up being a nose hair plucker.
He pulled em' till he sneazed.
He did just as he pleased.
Until the day he lost his pucker....

Lady Hamilton
Lady Alice Hamilton from Nambucca,
Was a large lady that enjoyed her tucker,
            At any posh soiree
She'd seat herself by the buffet,
Eating so much she would sometimes splutter....

REFUSAL TO DUCK

Tucker sits on lawn chair sipping his pop.
Two bullet holes like flies land on backdrop.
A retired mechanism.
He’s done with tourism.
He’s a sitting duck in front of a shop.

Premium Member What If We Sang Loudly In Elevators
What if we all danced on top of the expensive cars
In the super market parking lot?

What if we all sang “Old Dan Tucker” loudly
in crowded elevators with suit people?

What if we rode psychedelic skateboards down dead man’s hill?
Would they think we were crazy or would they be jealous?...

Plumper- of- pillows
Puller-tight-of-covers
Chin-tucker
She of the soft white hands
Whisperer
Sweet singer of lullabies
Sand-sprinkler
Keeper of the Xanadu Gardens
Shaper scenter-of-flowers
Now she goes on tiptoe
Leaving the door open just a crack
She's created a dream
Then let everyone dream it with her

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Stacey...

The Tucker
A puzzle piece gets tucked away
Inside a resting boot
And Henry, who's the tucker,
Finds this type of thing a hoot.

A book is likewise hidden
In a laundry pail or drawer
Where, if someone isn't watching,
We won't find it anymore.

This hide and seek's adorable
Though it comes with a cost,
For it's just a stroke of luck so far
That nothing has been lost!...

My Red Poem
Here I write a red poem,
Sohpie Tucker red,
"The last of the red hot mama's" red.
It's a hard Tap Dancing Red,
St. Valentine's red,
Cinnamon Apple scented red...
Georgio sweet smelling red,
Victoria Secret Red,
Morning sunrise red,
Red Hot lipstick red,
Happy Go Lucky Red.
Written with my flaming Pink Crayola Pen
On this October day...
Oh you kid!

Glowing
The setting sun was sinking slow
At Cavan Lake that night
Russell and his mom had the fire going just right

Gramma and her faithful pal Tucker, black as coal
They were moving closer to the flame
The air was getting cold

We sang some songs as I recall
Even one I didn’t bring
That was that old nasty one that Grampa used to sing

So now when I get feeling bored with nowhere else to go
I slip inside that magic night
Not so long ago...

Free Thinking
A day off.
Totally free
Late Summer clear skies
mind seeking someone to spend it with
Or not
Take a ride down cape
Favorite coffee in sip cap cup
Janis or Marshal Tucker?
Tull or Who?
Backroad dawdling
Scenic route to Nowhere
Maybe even write another song
Or ride the Vineyard ferry
Back and forth
Or mow the greens
and finally play some golf
Salt in the air
Wind in my hair
What do I care
About most?
I think I'll go buy
A crown roast...

Tucker
Tucker is our eighty pound Dogo
Argentino family pet.

Under foot is where he lays.

Creeping into the kitchen at the
smell of food; hoping, if he’s lucky
he’ll get a crumb, or two.

Keeps me tripping; he’s leading,
then he abruptly stops, to see if
you are still behind.

Evening and morning; you see
two shadows, one is mine, the
other is not.

Rotten; spoiled beyond repair.
He doesn’t know he is a dog,
he thinks he is human....
