The Rain
Falling ever so gently
My tears mix with the rain.
It foreshadows
the coming pain,
the past pain,
the present pain.
But I know
these unexpected storms
only water the conquerer within.
So these trifling setbacks,
shouldn't make me cry at all.
But they do....

The Devil's Smile =^-^=
Grasping for breath
Forgetting implicitly
Embracing the counterfeit
Falling into disbelief.

Trifling through a bed of roses
I find myself lost in Moses
Insecure in my abilities
Questioning my nobility.

With heaven & hell before my eyes
Swatting at flies & twisted alibis
Finding Jesus through all the lies.

Behind every smile lies Belial
Forcing humanity to run an extra mile
Into the bile of Satan's smile....

Serial Pt1
Pain is an afterthought anymore,
The pureness of it so fulfilling,

Not for me but for those I adore,
The wait until the kill thrilling,

Blood oozes from my knife galore,
The nature of the act so chilling,

Crimson red swarms the dark floor,
The end near now dawn is nearing,

Each act causes my rage to soar,
The police are close how trifling,

Throwing caution out the door,
The next victim my true calling,...

Randy
There once was
A man
named Randy
Night after night
I gave him candy.......

I fell for his
republican
demeanour
It actually made me
Keener

I loved his buttoned
Up shirts
and this is what
drove me
to flirt....

His trifling stare
All his grey hair
Added even more
flare

I begged him to love
me
I begged him
to hug
me....

To which he grinned
and said much
To my chagrin
I need no wife
I have a life!...

Make a Mountain Out of a Molehill
M-ake a mountain out of a molehill
I-n May thirtieth warm day;
C-ome and treat a trifling matter,
H-aving a great value in any way.
E-vade belittling the ants,
L-earn a lesson from them instead;
L-ook! they can carry bigger things in unity,
E-ven if they have no king or head.

C-onvert garbage into gold,
A-void disparaging anyone at will;
C-reate an asset out of a liability,
H-ave to make a mountain
O-ut of a molehill....

Relativity
A microscopic arachnid tinier than a poppy seed spins diminutive filaments barely visible to the eye; a spiral silk lacework deathtrap for infinitesimal prey strung high between white cornered walls in a microcosmical world. Is its existence more trifling than mine that occupies more space? Perhaps not, in the scheme of things: my universe among the stars is imperceptibly smaller than this occupants’ in my room.

Sour Grapes
Sour grapes have been washed
And set out to tease.
Sitting in the middle of the room
On a pedestal of glass.
Sour grapes look down
With an almost disdainful stare
At the Lords and Ladies hurrying by
Wondering if any would care.
The scurrying,the trifling
The signs of human persons.
Gave it courage to ask.
Care for some?"
Let sour grapes sit.
Adorned in the finest China.
For in tasting only can you tell.
The story sour grapes bear....

A Crocheted Potholder
Fecund sewer ingeniously knitted
An ornately crocheted potholder was made

Bragged her complete oeuvre at first
But its worthless in everybody’s sight

It may be futile or trifling
What can it flaunt is nothing

The Cuisiner's hands are sheathed
From scorching cauldron was protected

No acclaim, no reward travail
From first light to nightfall with ill

Hard work makes it smeared and filthy
At old age, it will be banished away...

Dyed In Wool
It has to be deeply personal, you said
As if the sun is not so
Nor the moon
As if the verdant lane
Fenced in by memories of you and me
And the lonely jackal on distant moor
Are enough to create human mystery

When through shimmering haze the moon is full
The web is shut, the famous mistletoe
has dripped its cool,
A weak and trifling heart will peep out silently
To whimper at the startling beauty
Singed and dyed in many splendored wool...

Summer began in a small country home; forest's shadow and fields a dog can roam. A kiss of radiant warmth lay this day, off wild running and chasing in gay play. Like other children we trifling quibble, over childish senseless art we scribble. QUIBBLE over who's going to be first, QUIBBLE who's acting like the very worst. Though harmless quibble with one another before twilight falls, still love each other.

Say Sorry To the Broke
Learn to say ‘Sorry’ to who is broke:
Don’t him near to make of it a joke,
Even if you were to him Nice Bloke
Or playfully would his rib-cage poke;
He’s now saddled with burdensome yoke
And easily could in whisky soak.

Remember it’s ‘Sorry’ to The Broke
Rib-cracking it might be leave your joke
The once-tuneful voices, a croak
So Trifling Words - For God’s Sake! - don’t fit
Some in helpless chairs cheerfully sit
But soonest mortally themselves hit!...

What Matters Most
To see what matters most in Life
I weighed the things inside my heart
What many treasures may impart
Importance there, to shed some light.
I took out most trivialities
Got rid of mundane, trifling matters
Found there the root of iniquities
Was the "I, the me, and mine" affairs.
By choice, purged out the hindrances
To everything that makes me whole,
Set free from all encumbrances
At last found Peace there for my soul.

Anfractuous
You twist and wind uphill,
Defeating common logic
That informs ordinary will,
Quashing layman's magic.

Your miles can't mundane
Tools measure with ease,
Nor trifling men's suremises
Feign to fathom with peace.

Anfractuous is your course
Along travail's painful main,
Past warmths of kith or kin,
Beyond love's kiss and pain.

Up this odd adventurous tor
Shall my days curl their way,
Charting eerie paths via war,
Whereon saints tearful tread....
