The Ecstasy and the Agony

O, ecstasy of exhilaration
   Heaven's heights nearly scaled
Knocking on the door of Consecration
   To remove the Eternal Veil...

Holy Day's ended,world's again clouded
   Plunged back into corporeality stifling
Celestial Palace in mist beshrouded 
   ~ Grasp at Earthly straws so trifling
