Dear God

Dear God why
Lord why
Are there so many
Trials and tribulations
It seems like no end
I need a release
Shut the darkness off

Trials and Tribulations

Despite trials, and we’ve had many,
with tribulations, felt lost at sea,
we get up each day
with an effort to say,
for our freedoms we’ll fight, to be free.

I Rose

As I Rose
I took asunder, all trials and tribulations
And I rose toward the heavenly gates
with my book of good deeds in one hand
ready to show heaven who I was.

May we be blessed every day…
as through through the trials and tribulations of this world we traverse….
to understand peace will only come to us

Premium Member Why My Love For You Never Changed

It's because the great depth of our romantic love,
opened a portal for spiritual love,
once connected it exists,
on a plane or level,
not affected or influenced by,
worldly trials and tribulations,
love on autopilot.

Faith

Faith should prevail over all,
When trials and tribulations,
Begin to make you fall.
You should feel the call,
To pray the scriptures.
Since they have the right picture,
Of what should be done,
And how the battle should be won!

Backlit in life’s shadows –
the exacting burden of responsibilities –
you are lost.
Bathed in light amongst shadows
of trials and tribulations that
internal hope defrosts;
one can but surmise
your inner strength,
as the light bends to reveal the cost.

Green Grass

Green Grass

Trials and tribulations
Life and its frustrations
The train awaits me at the station
Do I get on, or let it pass me by?

The grass isn’t always greener
Looking at those who’ve been there
What’s for them isn’t for me
Face life head on
Be who I want to be

Life shines through the windows of my sole
Searching, yearning the meaning of life's goal
Ages of trials and tribulations
Memories deep beneath formed notions
A prayer to Creator for guiding light

"A world of trials and tribulations carried underneath the sun.
He stands by his woman as she by her man bound together as one.
Instilled with Prayer and Faith along with God's grace.
Power of both will never let anyone take their place."

through tides both high and low
trials and tribulations
today and tomorrow
torching feral torrents
tryst with trust sees us through

Divine Like a Flower

A long, long time ago
 There was a time
 When we were innocent
 Divine like a flower.

Time had the test on us.
In trials and tribulations, in grief
 We lost our pristine form
And became a product of life

 A long, long time ago
 There was a time
 When we were innocent
 Divine like a flower.

Wake Up and Live Your Life

Having life and not living it is a sin to our soul.
Don't conform to the masses with popular ring tones.
Sit in silence to find your way.
For trials and tribulations are part of the game.
This journey called life is one we play.
If you sleep too long words stay words and being enlightened becomes grey.

My Dearest Brother

Brother, people may not understand you and who you are...
But, I see the many depths of your heart, by far.

You face many obstacles of trials and tribulations..
I will always be there for you with caring and patience..

Come what may we will always be together..
I love you, our bond; will not be severed.

Golden

They walked together
hand-in-hand
down a golden path
through trials and tribulations,
through hopes and dreams,
joy and fear;
with mutual sacrifice
and collective determination.
With passion, purpose
and enduring love
they remained united
for half a century
in a beautiful relationship
that made them one.

Premium Member I Wonder Why

That's strange! I wonder why...
It hasn't stopped all morning. Ay-ay-ay!

What's the matter now? Jesus Chri...
YOU do something this time! Not I!

That's it! I give up! Not even gonna try!
Oh, yeah? Then you're outta here! Bye!

   Alas! The trials and tribulations
Awakened by a tiny baby's cry!

Trials and Tribulations

Is it my turn to burn,
within the depths of Hell,
Will i soon be torn apart,
from the God I knew so well?

Is it my turn to fall,
to bruise and cut my knees,
I struggle for a slip of air,
so hard for me to breath.

I need a way to cope,
cuz cutting doesn't work,
I'll knock down all my demons,
with a dark redeemful smirk.

Forever Land

They say nothing last forever,
who the heck are they?
My kingdom for my lady,
any suitor I will slay

My love shall grow strong
through the trials and tribulations,
our kingdom of great love
will shine for new generations

Dear lady, take my hand...
"Love forever" rules our land.

Premium Member Two More Limericks Re Marital Trials and Tribulations

I
A happily married man is he
Who weds, not for love, but for policy.
His life will be clover
If his wife will sign over
Not the deed to her heart, but her property.

II
A woman who weds for the pleasure,
May live to repent at her leisure.
When she's no more excuses
For her husband's abuses,
A close bond with her lawyer she'll treasure.

THANKING GOD

GOD, I want to thank-you
For your miracles and blessings
That you have bestow
Upon my life and for being
With me through all of
My trials and tribulations
Thanks for guiding me through
Family betrayal, backstabbing friends
And a cheating plus one, I also thank-you for
Opening up my eyes to the real world but
Not through rose colored glasses

Premium Member You'Re Tough

You're tougher
than I thought
You weather the storm
without a flinch
or alteration
of your personality
It's amazing
in a way
to see how you
conduct yourself
through all the
trials and tribulations
of life.
You really are
a wonder to behold.
It brings me satisfaction,
causes me to question
how I
can be so weak
when you are
so strong.

I Have Found You Lord

At last I found the reason
Why my mood has been so low
Many trials and tribulations
All these things You didn't know
Know of all the sickness
And know about the pain
I'm thankful that I have You Lord
With You I can't complain
Some days are bright and sunny
And some are dark and blue
Please help me Lord to guide my steps
So that I may feel brand new
