Golden
They walked together
hand-in-hand
down a golden path
through trials and tribulations,
through hopes and dreams,
joy and fear;
with mutual sacrifice
and collective determination.
With passion, purpose
and enduring love
they remained united
for half a century
in a beautiful relationship
that made them one.
