Leonardo da Vinci’s The Virgin of the Rocks embraces chiaroscuro to evoke mystery and ambiguity, illustrating the liminal beauty of what lies betwixt and between.

Poetic form: The Tesla 3–6–9

Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more. ~Nikola Tesla.

Backlit in life’s shadows – the exacting burden of responsibilities – you are lost. Bathed in light amongst shadows of trials and tribulations that internal hope defrosts; one can but surmise your inner strength, as the light bends to reveal the cost.
