Notes About The Poem

Leonardo da Vinci’s The Virgin of the Rocks embraces chiaroscuro to evoke mystery and ambiguity, illustrating the liminal beauty of what lies betwixt and between.

Poetic form: The Tesla 3–6–9

Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more. ~Nikola Tesla.

Chiaroscuro

Backlit in life’s shadows –
the exacting burden of responsibilities –
you are lost.
Bathed in light amongst shadows
of trials and tribulations that
internal hope defrosts;
one can but surmise
your inner strength,
as the light bends to reveal the cost.

Hi, Anisha, the design is very uncomplicated - it would be nice if you could give it a shot.
