On the mountain path
I walked on and on and on --
At the great cliff's edge
I stepped onto the moonlight,
A traveller in space
Traveller
The dog let me know
one more hobo at the door
sandwiches and beer

I am a world traveller.
I am a reputable cartographer and explorer.
I grand-fathered Google Maps.

highway grinding
myway finding
mental meanderings
philosophic ideals
mirrorly miles
of reflection
passed under tired tires
my line of work
is space travel
those distances between stars
that's me
arranging all the loungers
around the hyper-pool
although
I'm only filling in
He ran from north to south,
Running from who he was,
Afraid to face who he sees,
This travelled with him,
He was devastated,
He sought to be a recluse.

Have traveled the world over
Without spending a dollar and moreover
From my comfortable lair
And my big easy chair
Marvelling at the sights with my laptop's enabler
My son Scottie, the eligible bachelor
Has been down the road, still a lonesome traveller
His time will come
Sure as the sun
Keeps rolling around, he's a charming feller!

Sure as the sun
Keeps rolling around, he's a charming feller!
Distant realms
I asked the traveller, "Where do you go?"
With a smile, he replied, " I do not know ;
The miles I travel to distant realms,
My heart rejoices , my mind overwhelms."

burning desire to experience world
traveller, path forgotten
a free spirit set loose

The white tower reaches for the heavens
a lighthouse in a motionless sea of grey
Beckoning the road-weary traveller
like a palm tree at a desert oasis
While an ominous fence of black spears
keeps the unwanted at bay
"Love"
Can I
See it or
Is it just an
Illusion, a fiend
Stretching forth open arms
To me, a tired traveller
On the road of Life? Or, foolish
Am I, is it the anchor that holds
The ship steady under the crashing waves?
beware the distant traveller,
who loves and leaves the scars,
the bloody mind un-raveller,
who is off to charm the stars,
until her deeds are done:}
she sparkles like the sun,
her ghost is gone hurrah....:} Don
Cardboard bound, paper built
And shackled in plastic rings
The world labelled Notebook
Hold all sorts of wondrous things.
Pages stained with a hundred spells,
Brings the land alive,
So tell me, weary traveller,
What do you need archived?
Sound
Once more
Thy Trumpets
Sweet melody
To my ears this night
Carry my soul upwards
To the ethereal sphere
Where I shall reside for a time
As a traveller of the cosmos
In harmony with the all and divine
"My last voyage
A great leap in the dark"
That is the thought of any traveller
Some wander off track
Vagabond and aimless.
Others set out with an aim
They prefer to keep veiled
Several never reach their destination
And just vanish.
The end of their game
a traveler , frightened by tomtit
and entered into the bushes which is petite
this is it
it not a tomtit is a bush tit
singing song in a daylight
a traveler around the bushes,
all daylong crossing,
all along walking,
all the this time frightened
by bush tit
A river that flows silently from one’s psyche
Fragile, tenuous, abiding
I sigh like a thirsty traveller reaching an oasis at dusk
A sailor welcomed into the bosom of a secure shore
I search unceasingly for meaning and words
Marvel at creativity waiting to be tapped
He truly loved the Winter shadows
of the bluish Sun
descending down the wayward hill
A gallant blackbird sang
the pastures of green
The pure conternance
of a seasonal traveller
Gentle flame of heart
that prevails a small brown garden
Frost, smoke to the empty grove
A traveller
On a path untraversed before
Hunger & thirst for the unknown
In the land of the riches
Of the immaterial kind.
A search
The sole purpose
Of the pure being
That lies within.

In the fragility of dreams,
She still dared to hope,
Of a brighter future,
No fear of the unknown.
Her path lay ahead,
Full of ups & downs,
She a traveller true,
A clear mind & open heart.
Her life’s her story,
Only she can write,
She, the star,
Shining in bright glory.
The Wind Whispers
'Wake up my love', the sweet cool wind whispers,
'Inhale in my celestial fragrance, stolen from your
Night jasmine that shyly sways and quivers,
Delighting every tired traveller by your arbour'.

Stars drip and drip,
they flow down
from dark blue trees into snow.
And air rings up
like a voice of a bell,
as a song of winds and blizzards.
The lonely traveler wanders in infinite cold night,
in indifferent cruel silence, because he searches
for his own white distant house.
