As Toot As Can Be

I am as toot
As toot as can be
I saw you put that word in there
I saw you take one out
I called the word police
You won't do that again

Premium Member Big Mac Ugly Toot and Tim

Little ghosts were sitting on a limb.
They were named Big Mac, Ugly Toot and Tim.
One spit out a head.
It was my friend Ted.
Now I am truly terrified of them.

Rout a 2-Toot

God's zombies just formed an hit squad
For poets whose work is slipshod
"If people don't die
Then angels can't fly!"
If "truth" is proof, my thoughts are flawed!

Premium Member Toot-Toot, Doggone It

There was this entrée; they called it bean soup
My pet tasted some, then let out a whoop --
   Doggone it, I exhaled
As Fido wagged his tail --
While I removed all his stench from the stoop...

Young Chuckie has only one vice
He does it each day, sometimes twice
     While Mum eyes with scorn
     Chuck toots his own horn
He’ll toot your horn too for a price

Quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Are you kidding, quickest way through mine is my rucksack Maybe I'm different Or a wee bit belligerent Mine's yelling “toot toot”, bloody hell, get back on track!

TOOT SUITE

Alas, as hunters treed their prey
envisioning the feast
gravied meal at end of day
sopped up in breaded yeast.

An ill wind blew
and no one knew
from where it emanated

As sugar in the innards boils
and then - a little toot uncoils

Toot, Whistle, Bang, Harrumph

Short days turn into weeks
months melding into years
ever endless changes
the numbers and the fears

new things growing older
wisdom’s elders cast aside
for aging is the future
youth cannot abide.

Hoot's Toot

There once was a little Jack Russell
who was as sweet as she was cute
and went by the nicname of hoot.

Now in the evening the
family would gather
to spend family time together.
Everyone including Hoot was there.

Me on the couch
the kids on the floor
and dad in his favorite chair.

As we sat there a smell most foul
quickly filled the air.

It seems our sweet little hoot
had let loose with a toot
and now we are all fighting for air.

Premium Member ogre gives a grateful toot

The ogre was irritated with the woman with the locket
She had accidentally run off with his boot in her pocket
He stumbled upon it a few months later in the woods.
It had been created into a darling house, where it stood.

He did not have the heart to take it back, for he was soft.
There were several children inside, one of them was named Coft.
Coft waved at the ogre and yelled out “Thank you for the boot!”
Ogre was glad for the thank you, so he gave a grateful toot.

Toot That Horn Donald

Young Donald got some
play-time yesterday when
some big grown men
stopped by & let him
sit in the drivers seat
of their big, big truck,
& he even got to toot
the big, big horn,

oh was Donald pleased,

but they cut short the
visit as he was getting
a little too rambunctious
& the big men had to
go back to working
for a living,

Donald needed a little
quiet time in the White
House & some milk &
cookies to calm down,

but oh what an exciting
time he had didn't he!
