a tomb

domed
and grand
and cherubin
   temerity
a mass grave
of all of us
but
who still
creeps around
upstairs

So I Live My Life
I always wanted friendship
       i didn't want the domain
       wanted respect
       no temerity
       I want satisfaction
       not the glamour
       or fame......

Broken Mirrors
It’s easy to criticize…
harder to know

The poison unleashing,
reflections aglow

Assumption to breed
where temerity hides

The lie in sheep’s clothing
—truth buried inside

(Dreamsleep: January, 2021)...

Pardon my temerity to disagree
Never should I speak my point of view
Refuse any notion of value in me
Extinguish my worth and my self-esteem, too
How dare I believe my own eyes and see
What skies are possible, without you.

Temerity
Temerity is the Clarity,

of seeing things all the way through,

Ingenuity and Congruity,

come along for the rendesvous,

with Conscientousness and Perseverance,

you have gathered a most formidable crew,

but it is Temerity with all Sincerity,

that acts to form the glue....

Vulnerable Decorum
Despair aught I care, in distraught
adhere I thought.
I fear unsure in revere, insecure of
love immature.
Unfair sincere demure, disdain severe
I incur pain.
Allure in dire devour, deplore I cower
pure desire.
Bizarre amour to perish amiss, ignore I
defer jealous affixed.
Temerity in moral of boredom, surety a quarrel of
Vulnerable Decorum....

Premium Member Gumption
Listen to poem:
The assumption with gumption
is that its meant for
general consumption.
But like a spice
it should be used sparingly,
for that which spurs us on to dare and dream,
It takes chutzpah, bravery and temerity
to be willing to take on
the necessary risks entailed
with audacity, guts and tenacity.
Its gumption consumption,
without interruption,
that gets the job done....

Beautiful Irony
Women of society dressed in silk
Thin pink spangly dresses that shine
Viciously blown away by the wind:
At all not but all never afraid
Ever to expose naked bodies
Swathed in extreme beauty.

Tis the elegance of our society
The ambivalence of our dexterity
The vicious tenacity of their temerity
The very ambivalence of this beauty
The hidden nature in it of this beauty
The hidden nature in it of this levity
Is a promiscuous social beauty....

“The Memoirs of a Cat Lady”

you slinked onto my sunny windowsill
winked with your one good eye
a no-brainer, all in your face, head

saucy marmalade pants
bittersweet No. 1 wins the day,
in my bed

oh to be dominant
in my realm of warmth
once again

Moonlight
calculates the temerity
of a head-over-heels

One-eyed Pirate upstart
heart-claiming
Love Cat

she remembers
shameless,
she silently grins

A Happy Ending
And so another saga begins
in a loving, aging extended family.
We are all victims of cancer's proclivity.

How could we have the temerity to
assume otherwise and miss the nuance
that is her speciality?

Soon the marrow will have an aperture
that will attest to blood results.
A prelude to treatment.

A treatment that leaves it's latest victim
and us barren of joy and happiness.
Our lives on hold again.

Yet, just as one has survived,
we pray so will the other.
A happy ending....
