A garden fount stands blithely
Misting potent soil of lawn-

A soft warm breeze dissipates the mist of early dawn,
Beneath a clump of cottonwood, I see a lone fawn,
Birds glide above fluffy clouds as the bright sun climbs high,
Silvery lake teems with fish as swans and ducks float by.
Nature has dressed my home with all its best finery.
I get my paints to capture that sparkling scenery....

Able to soothe or destroy
Tranquil til it's not

Just as the sea bed
Teems with life and creation
Yet smothers sleepers

Yearn to catch a wave
Riding high as if tamed waves
No one can control

Carry me away
Purge me of my troubled soul
As I sway gently

By day the sea calls my name
Promises to rid of shame

A smoldering ember lying in wait
tossed thoughtlessly from the window
of a racing car.
The parched forest floor teems with life
now waits as it grows
slowly at first then quickly
with it's own agenda...
to consume everything it touches.
It is fanned by the zephyr
running wildly through the hills
it ebbs and flows with the land
taking homes and lives alike
stopping only at the water's edge.
It has only one name...

Strange this seems
	To be suddenly want
When I felt so alone for so long.
Now my mind teems
	‘tis an emotional jaunt
Perhaps I was viewing myself all wrong.

Away from them all
	I would usually hide
Afraid to show my true face.
Sometimes I’d bawl
	Crying out my pride
But, now I’m suddenly finding my place.

Echo’s in my mind
	From the old me
Scream at me to shun them all.
Now I find
	From the input I see
It was only me making me fall....

A Rembrandt, made of her family's hopes and dreams

Searching for happiness,
Within a two dimensional canvas, little scope there seems

Outside the colours,
Someone captivated by her beauty, hearing her empty screams

Only for the key,
Longing to be outside, he opens the door and beams

Filled with intrepidation,
Beckoning “come outside”, his love for her it teems

She turns away,
For others she must stay, hiding from her dreams....
