Too hot to play ball
So humid, can't move at all
Stayed inside all day, stayed cool
A cold shower ~ my swimming pool
Jim was a silly fool.
Who fell into his swimming pool.
He wasn't a swimmer
He could not be dimmer.
It was very very uncool

When I really wanted a renewal,
Was baptized in a swimming pool;
Did dunk;
Then sunk,
While preacher stood on a stool.

SUMMER SWIM WARE
Hospital is swimming pool
Physicians the rescue crew
Medical form, death warrant
Medicine, magic life jacket
But rescue-team also drown
beautiful babe
ready to come
stopped
in order to grow
nourish
flutter in womb
warm swimming pool
safe haven
before immaculate world
Deep end diving; shallow end Fear.
Barbecue host and nobody near.
Crystal, shimmering; fish to eat. . .
Lounge chair Dolphin wets her feet.
A swimming pool for the dog?
My husband acts like I am mad.
Does he not remember my manmade bog?
A delicious pool for the most pets I ever had.
pristine clean water
swimming pool for two fun dogs
retrievers mudhole
puts in rocks and clay
thick enough for mudpies now
brother drinks his fill
a crisp cool wind blows
leaves into the swimming pool
fall has quietly arrived
no laughing children
splashing under the warm sun
they’ve grown up and flown away
fishing pole… new mud hole… swimming pool
summer breeze… scorching heat… splash of rain
laughing loud… giggling soft… summertime

We have a president who loses their cool;
Last time we looked in our swimming pool,
Being a big joke,
And fun at poke;
Trump's brain looked like some loose stool.
Jim Horn.
Summers up north are reasonably cool.
Hot, sweltering temps are just not the rule!
So if the heat turns you off,
come up here and have a quaff
of cold beer beside my new swimming pool!

Dry Swimming Pool
He learned how to play with a loose tool;
Suffered from much criticism and ridicule,
When he had lied,
After a while died,
Being fool who dove into dry swimming pool.

Testing the water --- such is wisdom feat
as lad prepares toward Olympic fleet
yet knows that he's not a fool
to bathe in cool swimming pool
since hygienic concerns he first must beat.
My Pet Shark
I took my pet shark to the swimming pool
To help him learn to swim.
Now my swimming instructor’s missing,
No one has heard from him.

Give Redicule To A Fool
He learned how to play with a loose tool;
Always suffering from criticism and ridicule;
When he lied,
People out cried;
Called poem, "Fool diving into dry swimming pool."

Stool Stopped and Lost Cool
Someone had really lost their cool;
When she stopped having a stool;
If you do,
It is true,
Not in a swimming pool or vestibule.

Longer days
vacation stays
packed beaches
eating peaches
sudden showers
picking flowers
water slides
carnival rides
wearing shorts
playing sports
snow cones
skipping stones
riding bikes
long hikes
swimming pool
staying cool.
Sunday morning
I opened the curtain
looked down to
the swimming pool
blue, clear like
a mountain raindrop
A woman swam
reaching the ladder
and arose
A generous goddess
in her sixties
facing the sun
enjoying her alone time
