Rubble of a vanquished race
People recoil from the truth
Peace on earth goodwill to men
We did not know how

Hate became a way of life
Vitriol running rampant 
 Strike down the opposition 
Crucify the man

Destruction by our own hand
We gave away our freedom
We did not lift up our voice
No one left to blame

The breath of the demon kids 
subtlety sweetens the air around mortal men.
Strike down! Strike down!
Their hateful hearts a'bound!
Bless them in a pool of frowns,
all 'kind can do is sin.
The gods among us fight the faze,
and see the world a'grin.
Bite down! Bite down!
The flesh of life is fresh,
knowledge most bitter only a glaze,
yea, dip said dope again....

The Arizona Monsoons strike once again
 Violent light crashing up towards the sky
  Purple cloud chemistry flashes so colorful
   Bolts of spider webs splash through the night
    A tumultuous sky flares with charged energy
     That can strike down with certain death
      Watching safely indoors but still hold my breath

You move me
I dance in parades
and sit among the strange
I bask in the sun
I laugh like honey
Awe inspired

How you rip the branch from the trees
and kill little things that breathe
but still
allowed to smile
conquer
You prosper
What else is there to do
but take it all in?
I soar on your wind

God has yet to strike down the strong men
And so I am the student
You the unknowing tutor
I sit, pen in hand
Ready for lessons
