Energetic Sky

The Arizona Monsoons strike once again Violent light crashing up towards the sky Purple cloud chemistry flashes so colorful Bolts of spider webs splash through the night A tumultuous sky flares with charged energy That can strike down with certain death Watching safely indoors but still hold my breath Written for contest I Form "Imagism" 09/19/2024 Hosted By: Constance LaFrance

Hi Brian, Monsoons missed us this year, in central Phoenix where I am. But I have seen some wild-ones over the years...and you describe them well. Nicely done.
