I can't get moving today
All my oomph has flown away,
I keep on muttering Um and Ah
Realising this won't take me far
I gave up and decided to play, OK....

Lovers' Delight
Eclipse opened up the sea as torch of heavens flare over skies
Symphony of angels heralded the crowning jewels of love
Lovers stood still, stiffening their breaths, bewitched under the sunset....

Flames of the world
Alas,

Brisk Candles Dine,

Endlessly Fleeting Graceful Horizons

In Just, knowing Lies May Never Own

Promptly Quilting, Reasons Stiffening

Tomorrow Uncovering Voracious Winds

Xenial Yielding Zenith....

Rising
Electric pulse between
You, you and me
Like the nectar and honey
Waters to the leaves
Encase between mine
Together slivering
Announcing arrival
Stiffening between time
Lightning speaks, only at speeds
Fastened into my, my beginning
Showering rains, melting sands
Rising in me, accompanied by you
You and I, gone by light...

A Moment of Silence
A moment of silence
Reflection of heart
Feelings so intense
So sour and tart

A moment of silence
Stiffening of life
Feelings so tense
So full of strife

A moment of silence
Surviving of souls
Feelings on the fence
As the bell tolls

A moment of silence
For all those lost
Feelings so immense
And for what cost?

Old Bones
With age come aches and pains and, too,
A stiffening of joints
With movements thus restricted
On the body’s weakest points.

So hips and neck and hamstrings
And especially the knees
Announce that they’re eroding
As they tighten up and seize.

Though exercise and heating pads
May help you to regroup,
Those old bones might be better off
To make a base for soup!...

Time Lapse
Drops of rain a pulse of pain Down from head to face stiffening my veins i see lights in the streets shinning though the evening mist afternoon turned night a sorrow face of dark Pain as i say goodbye to day to it am saying ' i'll always be a friend" and hope every morning to be right here God willing, i'll go nowhere !

Winter Fields of Laois
Winter Fields Of Laois

Wind song whispered
between drystone wall and hawthorn
morning cold stiffening face and fingers
every clod-n-sod is an obstacle,
my head bowed like a bull
turning to look down the hill
moments pain and reflection.
A bitter droning voice
pressing coat to spine...
now curved as an eggshell
Above the trees a crow
a raggy dancer on the wind
is driven by the music
and rises...

We heard the wailing
Sounding from the southern side
Stiffening us to attention
As it echoes
 throughout the land
giving us a bile filled taste
as we listened
to its woeful tale
sending tears to every eyes
they tell of those
who with much zeal
pave way for men
who with much haste
drain away the life
of a people
leaving behind
their loads of undesirable gifts
laden with frustration
laden with sorrow
laden with pain...

Everywhere I Look, Everything Seems So Alive
My blood sinks in temperature, my body's stiffening
Every other human beings eyes, so bright and glistening
I feel so alone, why is no one listening?
Why do all my screams and cries for help feel like I'm whispering?

Why are my lips purple, while yours are red and smiling?
Why is the silver in my hand so dull and never shining?
As I breathe unwillingly and life is getting tiring
I put my hands upon my face and quietly start crying...

Hesitation
The stiffening of a muscle
You stand still
You search for that will
But what if its lost

That moment of hesitation
From no action
People know, their words , they must ration
To prevent a crack in a heart unbroken

The seconds too late
The reason for a love unknown
Life being lived at a slower rate
Because of that slight hesitation

A life unlived
The no before the jump
A memory, lost in time
Leaving a a person unchanged
Leaving an event unmade...

Artic Air Assassin
Blowing through my area for a few days
gust making temperature bitterly cold
rushing underneath my coat; soo bold
penetrating my layers of clothing and boots
siphoning my body natural warmth
hands throbs with pain; gloves no help
feet and face froze noticeably numb
leg bones stiffening as I continue to step
restricting my singing and dancing blood flow
left me feeling empty, cold, and stiff head to toes
wondering, "are you trying to steal my heart and soul?"
