White Wash
We heard the wailing
Sounding from the southern side
Stiffening us to attention
As it echoes
throughout the land
giving us a bile filled taste
as we listened
to its woeful tale
sending tears to every eyes
they tell of those
who with much zeal
pave way for men
who with much haste
drain away the life
of a people
leaving behind
their loads of undesirable gifts
laden with frustration
laden with sorrow
laden with pain
