faded stamp clings
to envelope’s thinning breath~
every inch a mile
of memories drifting backward,
a last whisper of a journey
long finished
I was once stamped
Stamped by love
In my body's skin
Where the barcode remained
But love escaped
Due to an unknown cause
Aimless I am
Stranded and befogged
Like a headless bird
Unable to find its nest
Peaceless
Tranquillity seems illusory.
Drencho POET Loads
A stamp retreating to a corner
Travels round the world
Without boundary
No political
Colourless
Timeless
With wavy emotion of the lovers
With startling surprise of the children
With overwhelmed joy of the parents
And now with the humbleness of me
Who is one of his owner
There was a cute young man
where I worked
Who was buying his
fishing license
And I
so matter o factly
asked him if he wanted
his tramp stamp with that
He quickly chimed in
Let's see
I am going camping
and if I catch a tramp
without the stamp
is the DNR
gonna fine me??
Cramp from Using Food Stamp
Outside was damp and do have a cramp,
Each time when I had used a food stamp;
Shopping at store,
With rest of poor,
And have no home and so out must camp.

Remember when I lived in Seattle area and
people would slept under the bridges.
You
Travel
Far across
Waters and lands
Remaining in place
In one corner
You move on
To reach

Get them in the schoolyard
kick'em in the pants
force them to listen to
your insufferable rants
Make them sit in silence
loudly make it clear
any one who TALKS to them
will soon be sittin' there.
Tell them they'll be punished
until THEY act as WE
constantly remind them
that KINDNESS IS THE KEY.

a food stamp phone, a food stamp phone,
my ole lady wants a food stamp phone.
chatting all night with jean, tom, and joan
my ole lady wants a food stamp phone.
says she must have one to connect with the
people she needs to talk to the most and I'm always
gone and she's so alone.
she's willing to give up t.v. and whatever else there is
as long as she can have a food stamp phone.

The office of credibility
Stamps their approval
Signifying
A latent rising over the stalk
Chafing, is the stigma
Medicalizing or criminalizing
The avid loophole watermarks
Blurry in their dispossesion
Searching for means to an end
What end of perspective?
Could ask for proof
Of insanity
In a doctors authoritative opinion
Avoid the brain drain
because the permanent records track
Putting the mark of cain
On social histories of the past

They may come and go says Samael, so sayeth the wiccan prince who some say too ushers in hell, but hell is reserved for the iniquitous and the evil, where tortured until they are ash, is the only white steeple, the comely few who verily detest when mothball mouths are not cottonmouth bassets the silly strummed up wheat, which pervades the day when the heat is nigh on noon complete, the southern seer, grampy to some, has black boys and girls this Samael sung.
This stamp brings visions to our eyes
Of years gone by, in summer's skies.
He left to join our freedom's sound;
And band of brothers, there he found.
To guard our freedom, his thoughts turned-
For love of country surely burned;
With comrades joined, to then unfold
a unity of strength untold.
Two hundred fifty years this year
Marine Corps- still, to us so dear!
This stamp will proudly send our mail.
With thanks, all veterans we hail!
Sultry red,
yellow pillow sky,
teased tandem,
with citric,
shades afloat oe’r waking town,
mirror bubbly folk in lane
jubilant,
trademark burrs catching,
glad echoes,
urge urban,
tableau of chalkmarked gold stamp,
where sheer pluck triumphs
buses swerve,
rapid rail steel track,
squeaky noise,
hoot … toot…. cabs,
en route symbol’s “jaunty” march,
co migrant orbit
Brothers Grimm could tell many a tale
Some of the endings could turn you pale
Rumpulstilskin stamped his shoe
Got stuck tore himself in two
That edition* did not go on sale
1857 version of Story
The ending of the 1857 edition saw Rumpelstiltskin die by being ripped in two. Now that is pretty gruesome, right? But how did this event happen? Did someone do it to him, or did something else happen.
