In Life

In life you either leap into uncharted realms, take your chances or stagnate like, moss on a log, It’s about choices.

The Eve Before

malcontents crapping on democracy
then complaining about how it stinks
the anarchist and antichrist
keepers of the stagnate stye
It is the eve before the prince of peace

Current (Septet)

Still waters
Allow not movement
Just stagnate from its neglect
Stir it up, letting it circulate
To flow in nat’ral order
Ride upon its waves
In sunshine

Going Out-Of-It (Triple Haiku)

GOING OUT-OF-IT (triple Haiku)

going out-of-it
where time looks back at you
eyes open but shut

all life is stagnate
not a rustle in the trees
going out-of-it

yet you are aware
going out-of-it half-way
life is eternal

Activate

It's easy,
just to contemplate
too much, though
and we may
stagnate;
perhaps we'll even
dessicate

Better,
in my mind to
activate
and motivate,
I say we
dedicate to
create;
then perhaps
it won't be
too late
to relate

Who Am I

Although epsilon
Ego so enlarged
In truth comical
As also tragic
A waking nightmare

What may we do
Save rest in void
Eye of the storm
In staid silence

We stagnate
And flounder
So helpless

Hermit
Awake

Now

With and Without

Without doubt we would not have answers, we would not have progress

If we accepted everything without question we would stagnate and regress

Without fear we would not have courage

If we always succumbed to fear we wouldn't have the courage to truly live

cessation

cravings of form consumed me
oh how I wished to be free
although organic form is but dust
I am torn between divine love and lust
so as to become self-aware
I decided to stagnate nowhere
releasing each impulse as soon it arose
remaining vibrant in blissful repose

Be Here Now

sentient, alive, aware
that’s all there is to it
imbibe, embrace, release
it’s ego that clings
identity bubble imaginary

renewing the moments
of innate aliveness
we allow yearnings leeway
as long as we stagnate not
for each life hue is new

Floods Freely Forging

Braising sun stagnate, scaring blistering air, sand cutting strafing, more will I mention, elements raising, wedge freely created, by those who do not care.

Floods freely forging, water crushing scare, wave weaving pressing, life lightly wasted, warnings for all to beware.

A Channel of Thoughts

routines
     always
       stagnate
suffocate
    as they
        envelop
dreams
    in
       silent
         confections:
beauty
&dignity
     disappear
in
abstract
uniformity
     consumed
     by
     chance,
dwindle,
diminish
die
without
     purpose

In-Laws

as the case my be,
many in-laws or out-laws,
relatives of flaws…
~
 at the least, no peace,
cause of marriage mating-pause,
 epic dysfunctions…
~
erections of rules,
needed fool, not Viagra…
marriage is stagnate!

Complacent

Become what you were meant to be
The world awaits your arrival, anxious to see

Evolution is bound to rear its head
Afraid of change, you aim to stay stagnate instead

No new adventures for the lonely, just similar strides
One has killed any chance of change, multiple homicides

The Mirror

O look in the mirror
Who stares back is never the same
We should change
Not stagnate
Yet I see different people
Those who I am proud of
Ashamed
Disgusted
Hate
Despise
I never know who will look back
She looks a bit like me
But that's only on the surface
That loathing runs deep

Summer Breeze

You are that rare, cool summer breeze that briefly passes by...
A small reprieve from the stagnate, humid July air...
I appreciate that momentary relief and long for it again...
My summer drags on but I never take for granted that small breath of joy...
My fleeting cool summer breeze...

Acquiescence

ACQUIESCENCE

Late March
It’s depressing
Dirty snow and windy
A scrap of paper tatters by
And wrinkles itself around a tree trunk
The sky is overcast but still
All hangs in time stagnate
One gazes out
Resigned

Just Smile

mud creatures with knifed talon fingers
squirm and rip
Tearing from my heart
a formless creature with no end or beginning
heads become tails that wrap and entwine
tortured stems of petrified trees
that twist and devour
spread and stagnate
held in stasis
by a lying smile
and morphing mask
that never shows beneath

Be To Become

desires
consume
our life
as time
does fade
whilst if
we choose
to flow
then our
pristine
presence
does not
stagnate
in thoughts
shallow
thus free
we as
a mist
immune
from pain
renew
the pulse
of love
pouring
ourself
into
ourself
being
the all
that is
here now
alive

My Words

My Words Miracle Man 1/13/2025 This writers thoughts are word embryos waiting to be delivered. Born as a whisper, they’re nourished by sight, voice, or as ink on a sheet of paper. Some have long lives, while others stagnate, having served no purpose beyond occupying this writer’s time.

Beach

footsteps through quicksand
thoughts a beach; the sea ideas
the tide locked out beyond the strand
as i watch the everchanging shore stagnate
my eyes catch glimpse of the tsunami of change.
i do not want to be buried under these waves of turmoil
but i sink lower, deeper into the tomb of the future.

inspiration comes at many costs.

'adjust and Move On'

Drowning in the knowledge That change is inevitable Afraid that your decision might backfire What can be more spine-chilling? Is the fact That not making the change will Lead you to a point of frustration Discontentment In the end to stagnate is also a choice It also has a consequence

She

She left me here to stagnate in my tiny, shallow room...
She destroyed all her flowers, leaving only a small bloom...
She's a million miles away, and I'm still right here...
I'm holding down the fort... I'm holding back a tear...
I writhe in her absence, and there's nothing I can say...
Perhaps I will see her again... Perhaps, maybe in May...

Stranger Heart

Quite strange, but
unless it gives away
to others an essential part of it,
the heart  will not be whole;

unless, like a lake,
it generously drains itself
unto thirsty creeks and streams,
it will stagnate and putrefy;

unless it boldly bares
its vilest, darkest secrets
in humble plea for forgiveness,
it will be a stranger unto itself!
