In life you either leap into uncharted realms,
take your chances or stagnate like,
moss on a log, It’s about choices.
Time meanders, drifts idle in the midst.

Without doubt we would not have answers, we would not have progress
If we accepted everything without question we would stagnate and regress
Without fear we would not have courage
If we always succumbed to fear we wouldn't have the courage to truly live

cravings of form consumed me
oh how I wished to be free
although organic form is but dust
I am torn between divine love and lust
so as to become self-aware
I decided to stagnate nowhere
releasing each impulse as soon it arose
remaining vibrant in blissful repose

imbues beauty
to color sound and light
painting sunrises and sunsets
while teaching songbirds what tunes to sing
always moving never stagnate
turning deepest oceans
to mountain peaks

imbibe, embrace, release
it’s ego that clings
identity bubble imaginary
renewing the moments
of innate aliveness
we allow yearnings leeway
as long as we stagnate not

Braising sun stagnate, scaring blistering air, sand cutting strafing, more will I mention, elements raising, wedge freely created, by those who do not care.
Floods freely forging, water crushing scare, wave weaving pressing, life lightly wasted, warnings for all to beware.

The world awaits your arrival, anxious to see
Evolution is bound to rear its head
Afraid of change, you aim to stay stagnate instead
No new adventures for the lonely, just similar strides
One has killed any chance of change, multiple homicides
O look in the mirror
Who stares back is never the same
We should change
Not stagnate
Yet I see different people
Those who I am proud of
Ashamed
Disgusted
Hate
Despise
I never know who will look back
She looks a bit like me
But that's only on the surface
That loathing runs deep
You are that rare, cool summer breeze that briefly passes by...
A small reprieve from the stagnate, humid July air...

It’s depressing
Dirty snow and windy
A scrap of paper tatters by
And wrinkles itself around a tree trunk
The sky is overcast but still
All hangs in time stagnate
One gazes out
Resigned

mud creatures with knifed talon fingers
squirm and rip
Tearing from my heart
a formless creature with no end or beginning
heads become tails that wrap and entwine
tortured stems of petrified trees
that twist and devour
spread and stagnate
held in stasis
by a lying smile
and morphing mask
that never shows beneath
desires
consume
our life
as time
does fade
whilst if
we choose
to flow
then our
pristine
presence
does not
stagnate
in thoughts
shallow
thus free
we as
a mist
immune
from pain
renew

This writers thoughts
are word embryos waiting to be delivered.
Born as a whisper, they’re nourished
by sight, voice, or as ink on a sheet of paper.
Some have long lives, while others stagnate,
having served no purpose beyond occupying
this writer’s time.
footsteps through quicksand
thoughts a beach; the sea ideas
the tide locked out beyond the strand
as i watch the everchanging shore stagnate
my eyes catch glimpse of the tsunami of change.
i do not want to be buried under these waves of turmoil
but i sink lower, deeper into the tomb of the future.
inspiration comes at many costs.
Drowning in the knowledge
That change is inevitable
Afraid that your decision might backfire
What can be more spine-chilling?
Is the fact
That not making the change will
Lead you to a point of frustration
Discontentment
In the end to stagnate is also a choice
It also has a consequence
