twigs, bushes and fences.
Even my old beater
looks different, dignified.
A metamorphosis.
Grey obscurity has been turned
into a silver plated kingdom.
A wonderful but short-lived spectacle.

in a corner
Melting wax
Creating  moulded figures
 and artifacts
Tears of agony
trickling down
Drop by drop
and then solidifying
Entrapping in it
all the burning pain
Waiting for the flame
 to die down

All that is left are

They are eternal and faceless
My lungs; brown paper bags deflating
My milk structures are curdling
There are tiny mouths taking microscopic airs
Aerated and heavy as oxygen in a stone sphere
Gaumless and watched by black-ochre shadows circling
Compacted as mud underfoot and crushed

I was focused on the chess board
Eileen is an unbeatable opponent 
I could not tell her anything
About my feeling for her
A feeling As old as the game itself
Chess is the game of life
My life game
A male was standing around our  table
With a persisting smile
His eyes were solidified around Eileen
As I tried to move
My bishop
To a check mate
Eileen asked me if we can 
Postpone the game
She has a neck pain

They must have been quite bold
To try some of that gone off cheese
Now covered in blue mould.

Who then discovered cheese cake?
Who was the very first
To take the solid gone-off milk
