Story of a Candle

A flickering candle
in a corner
Melting wax
Creating moulded figures
 and artifacts
Tears of agony
trickling down
Drop by drop
and then solidifying
Entrapping in it
all the burning pain
Waiting for the flame
 to die down
Waiting for the wick
to turn to ashes
When the flame flicks
for the last time
All that is left are
those solidified tears
and the figures and artifacts
created by them…….
