in twilight’s garden
lumened shoots from evening's soil…
wildflowers blooming

~ seed in soil that gets little rain; his thirst for knowledge, unquenchable. ~

SANDSTORM
cold front pushes clouds and soil into town
dry eyes fight the grittiness
of the bully sandstorm

Slick, moisture, refresh
forest floor's seedlings, nurture,
peat loam soil diet
Thanks to Raul Moreno's inspiration:)
Nothing grows on salted earth,
Finding only empty husk .
Tilling the soil of layered death
Causing blight with every tear.
In the whole World
All hands are washed
Found no soil and cleaned
But the whole hearts of the Wold
Still remain spoiled
Shovel ready verse,
new soil to disturb
Whose well to make deeper
—its draft future heard
(Dreamsleep: February, 2021)
Shred kneels over the thorn soil
well detrimental with retarded thought
life has no detail
but to copy nature like drought.
We all continue to feed from the soil
Except for the children that starve
Seed our world of turmoil
Save Eden, sow a garden
There is a lot of space in the sky
The soil is very patient
There is nothing like them
But, Human heart can be like them
clumsy is the clouds
with water; feeding the soil~
just if it downpours

Birds that soar cannot no more
all because of your oil.
Gallon after gallon it continues to spew
contaminating American soil.
Shifted child
hither and away
ripped roots clipped
soil untended
uncertain tender shoots
beneath the snow
fear spring thaw
rose is beauty like u
once crushed,
she would dissolve
in the lap of soil,
with her tattered dreams
like every indian women
incessantly
spilled blood flow
like raging rivers
absorbed into soil
transfusing …nourishing
withered roots
reincarnation
Mother's sacred seeds
slide into Earth's slick sliming
soil of post-secular soul
for sublimely sticky
ego-systemic surrender.
A
simple
stone block in
an acre of
soil,
star
spangled
symbol of
freedom under
law.
Inspired by a visit to Runnymede
Near Saint Avold, France,
More than ten thousand heroes
Whisper from the soil.
I was loosening the soil
On the roots
Around the trees
I was shock to hear
Saying
Thank you
Taking one voice
All the trees
The seed was planted,
The good soil received,
Water was given,
Sunlight did see,
All was needed
Was patience by me .
Sunshine Shall Smile.
By Dane Smith-Johnsen
The water drenches
The dry soil lustfully drinks.
Soon, sunshine shall smile.
My tree doesn't care
That her pot is plastic blue.
She likes fertile soil.
Dancing the words to lance the boil
With grace and style but no toil
Watering the soul’s thirsty soil
Poetry sings the mortal coil
Seeds complained bitterly;
“We were resting in bags,
happy and safe we were!
Why take us away by force
to be buried in wet soil?”
The roots of the tree of happiness are planted deep into the soil of sorrow!
