Broken love
open flesh wound
across my heart
aching love
wax heart dripping
burning across
my flesh
smoldering love
Form:
Blackened smoldering
Wood rising steam hazy sun
Autumn dew dripping
Blooming flower brilliant red
Resurrected from the dead.
Love begins like fire
Stirring flames of desire
Two souls smoldering
Among ashes glowing
Leaving embers burning

Smoldering bare feet arching
Flickering bright scarves

Women contaminating unborn children
With killer lungs
Slowly became our unwanted deceptive profit
And yet will clearly continue
Straddling the candle,
too close to the flame
A fiery benediction
—a smoldering refrain

With smoldering eyes
His gaze leaves me feeling weak.
...I tremble with lust.

Straddling the candle,
too close to the flame
A fiery benediction,

fired for being late

Yellowstone in flames
twenty years in prison
trees answer back
cold’s fire rages
against dawn’s smoldering clouds
calliope colors sing
a treetop chorus
sad songs of jubilation
fulfilling soft budded dreams

Love is always smoldering when we wash it on ourselves,
but brilliant when we shower it on others.

peering
into
the nightly
abyss
a surprise
the guest
awaiting
gently
she reeled him
inward
down, down
putting
his blistered
wings
to her
smoldering
ire
Rings of smoke drift out
from the chimney of my mind
and souls fireplace.
Pungent sounds sullen, sullying,
Feelings stark, severe, stressful,
Aflame, singed, searing, smoldering,
Thoughts surging, seeping, slinking,
Placid…As my eyes awaken…
Misty as the powder of my soul
The demi-god of legend
Haunts like snakeskin
Wandering my dreams
Igniting my being
Begging for your touch
Smoldering my loneliness
Forever
MISTY as the powder of my soul
The demi-god of legend
Haunts like snakeskin
Wandering my dreams
Igniting my being
Begging for your touch
Smoldering my loneliness
Forever
A little spark of dalliance bursts a humongous flame,
now it's white-hot passion growing too wild to tame

A certain young filly has caught my fancy
I squirm and I jiggle, and I get all antsy
Won't mention her name
But my parts are aflame
All ga-ga over her smoldering chassis

Candle in the wind,
candle's in the wind -
Pulsating a weak flame;
burning to a smoldering
end -
Ah Peace,
You disheveled outcast
Hiding in the heart
Of wingless doves
Shivering in cage-less
Confinement
Clinging to a charred
Sunrise
Smoldering
In the madness
Of god-less
Gods
ground warm welcoming
basket of life eternal
womb of wonder waiting
bedding of Gaia
rich refuse smoldering soil
now infinity awaits

Dark thoughts twitching on a nightstand.
Wrinkled -bloated-bloodied.
Like an ancient boxing glove.
Powerless-broken-longshot.
A dead sea scroll- smoldering.
In the chambers of a burned-out heart.
seeping from beneath
a bilious hate
a thick and blackened rage
containment breached
small fissures
mar the core
of tortured fate
smoldering ruins
of a life
to date
