Effortless I fade
It's not as hard as I thought
Don't think about it
Don't hold onto the fabric
Let it slip through your fingers...

Supernova
You were a star that had gone supernova.
I tried to catch your energy,
But I let you slip through my fingers
And fade into my universe....

You fall like a feather to the ground
I can no longer blame the wind
For your change in direction
You slip through my fingers
Each time I reach out
The wind takes you
You're willing
You are
Lost...

Beach
Everyone’s finding each other all around me
but I’m stranded alone
sitting in the sand
poking at the dust.
The clouds began to drip.
Watery flakes of sky slip down my fingers.
The ocean roars.
My lungs were already getting tired....

Colours
In the winter rain
 I held your Melting body
The paint leaving you
Escaping me
The blue brown yellow
 from your skin
 the ivory from your bones
 they slip through my fingers
Where you soul was
 there remained
a soaked canvas
battered and twisted
 in my hands
With all the dust of the world
 you were washed away...

Insanely In Love
She was the pure, maddening kind of perfection that made you want to pinch her skin to see if she’s real. The type of woman that would continuously slip through your fingers and into the arms of someone else. I don’t think I could ever let her go, I am so insanely in love with her that if she were to leave, she would take my entire existence with her....

Consummation
unconscionable efforts
slip through our fingers
while our god within'
patiently lingers
for our inward attention , understanding
a mystery of joy , love everlasting
deed of all deeds , our ultimate purpose
.......or........
remain in the field of clowns and circus
knowledge and wisdom
our sum of self worth
a journey of discovery
deep space well traversed ....

The Green Devil
A devilish master
Desiring to be possessed
Ye slip through my fingers
Lingering as water
Tempting my soul
Ensnaring every facet of my life
Fear and anguish grips my heart
Knowing that I lust after thee
Never satisfying
Always looming over me
Like a stench of death
Ye haunt my soul
Yet possessing you
Only intensifies my desire of thee
And the dread of losing you

What the Road of Love Is
Love is something you don't want to take for granted,
Because if you do,
It can slip through your fingers,
And it will hurt both of you.

So, search your heart, mind, and spirit,
And know if it is right,
Before you take a leap and mess things up,
Because things are right there in your sight.

Love isn't easy,
And is full of hard roads,
But if someone truly loves you,
You will stand their awkward toads....

I Waited
I never told you how I felt,
When I had the chance;
I hid my welled up feelings,
Never gave a second glance;

I stowed away my longing thoughts,
You weren't right for me;
But all I ever wanted,
Was to let you see;

I let slip through my fingers,
My one and lingering shot;
And allow that one brief moment,
Slither away, I cannot;

I waited too long to show you,
How much you meant to me;
And now you’re gone forever,
As gone as you can be....

Premium Member Musings of the Mind
In the absence of complication,
trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above sapphire, skies delight sanguine eyes-
inspiring forthcoming musings of the mind.

Where a restless sea spills upon a barren shore
with concerns for each grain of sand that fills the palm of a hand.
Before they slip through the fingers of reflection
where all the grains of sand are washed away with time.

If you are seen on the street,
not taking PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY,
to prevent catching and spreading this dreaded disease,
You Are Giving The Government An Excuse To Enforce MARSHAL LAW On EVERYBODY,
so protect yourselves seriously when you are out on the street,
if not for your own health, but to ensure our already limited liberties.
Rights are like grains of sand everybody.
Once you let them slip through your fingers, they are difficult if not impossible to retrieve....

I Miss You
They say ....
Do not live in the past
But it's so hard not to when it's where I seen you last.
I miss him so much,
that friend of mine
If only, I could turn back the hands of time
I would go back to the day that you and I first met
Knowing that in the future I would miss you and change what I now regret.
That moment I let you slip through my fingers
Left with only memories of you that will forever linger.

                     I Miss You!...

Onward
reluctant,
I set darkened seas.
horizons slip through feebled fingers
impotent against sky.

what pinned the stars in place?
what streaked dawn’s last trace?

matterless now
an emptied course.
mute sirens sit, clicking
watch disaster, shaking heads.

blunder blindly ahead
backward no more-
no peek at distant shores
for signs of smoked remorse.

no retrieved reprieve
just on till to tomorrow,
a hardened breath
and heart

come sorrow, come regret
we sail....

Your Changing Face
my days have become a dream
as hope has flown away
leaving the sand
to slip through my fingers
while hiding in the shadow of the sun
in secret we met
in silence I wept
floating in eternal space
on a moonless night
I try to enjoy the peace by the lake
as hours pass me by
allowing my mind to drift with the tide
I see the sorrows of your changing face
only you can gaze into my hungry eyes
igniting the fire from within
as I wait for the miracle to come
judgement is severe...

The Bird Keepers Mistake
Have you ever seen
A bird keeper at a loss?
When he sees his mistake,
As a million sparrows flutter out their cage.

Have you ever watched him
As he frantically flails his arms in the air,
Like a mad man,
Reaching amidst his confusion and the bird’s attempts at freedom?

Watch their wings slip through his fingers,
A million times,
As he tries to control their outburst,
Before they level the sky

Loose feathers in the air and in his hair
Memories of his mistake,
When he left the latch open....
