Damn it's ten miles to the next
Oh well 'tis life
There's strifer strife
Like Covid-19 to try to prevent
still all over town
those tired election signs
winners and losers
both droop in tired defeat
Now these damn signs have to go
Teach me to speak with my hands
Let me hear beyond the silence
Take me to your world so I can understand
For it’s only sound that not in our presence.

Once again I hear eerie noises and more
glancing around I feel chilled to my core
is it another sign
an alien of some kind
no its cat paws underneath my door!

Special part of life that keeps me beaming
Yes, it is not

here in the city
