Lean !
Antinomy begets conflict
Decision evokes freedom
Government heeds interest
Jest kills laziness
Ends and beginnings start and finish.
Walling off the bad
You've self-imprisoned your heart
From reaching the good;
Hope you understand life now,
It's imperfect just like us
There are two sides to every question.
To explain would take too long.
So, there are two sides to every question,
Mine, and the one that's wrong.
coin of the gods
sun on one side
moon on the other
each has a purpose
neither calling in sick
making Zeus proud
sun and moon
sides of sky coin
People gather in the crimson heat
For summer adventures when they meet.
Their chaos release,
But I like my peace
Writing in my poetry book - sweet!
Little Jimmy riding bike, somehow
Was run over by passing snow plow
He lost his left arm
Left leg bought the farm
And after a day, he’s all RIGHT now
One coin; two sides
Cold, dark, eerie night
Vampires spreading terror
In wayfarers hearts.
Indoors, lovers snuggled tight
Of the terror, oblivious!
i can be this
or have a fits
my moves change
just like rain
come down hard
some smooth as lard
am that way ican say
world wide
I HAVE
TOO SIDES
when lines join or coincide
to make a shape curved or straight
line becomes a side so intricate
three together 1 2 3
transmute abstractly
When autumn comes
is winter far away?
Every silver lining
has a cloud.
This is the best of all possible worlds.
So says the optimist,
so says the pessimist too.
we take sides to fight
politics and religion
pray or become prey
hate poisons the mind
arrogance is ignorance
divided we fall
Who guides you each day?
Would you to angels pray?
Our guides on the sides,
All ethereals, they hide,
An open mind, we must keep,
Blessings from above, love so deep.
GRAZING MOUNTAIN SIDES-
favorable mount
a coarse, strong grasses reaching
into the timbers

Trump Has Two Sides and Hides
Trump we have heard has a second side,
And no one can ever trust or in confide;
Color of hair,
Would not dare;
Became so bad and each he has to hide.

o
love
you are
flower,
you are
thorn,
someone hugs you
someone throws you
someone brings up you
someone kills you
you are the aggregation of
good and bad!

Listen to poem:
Standing up, on top
straddling the seesaw
one foot on each side, now.
Whichever way I lean
sends the upside down
and the downside up.
Slippery slide
to the flip-side
is unworkable.
It's lunge, parry
riposte.
There are three sides to every story
a trifecta of subjective observations
that warp over time and each time
the story changes a bit until you have
three completely different tales
that tell the story of one event
Strong willed you may say as he goes on his way.
his thinning hair a dead giveaway,
Each dawn a new day to endure, yet so unsure.
absent friends to remember, this cold November.
Lonely tired yet still he smiled.
white enclaves
gated jails
urban slums
where the sun is pale
two sides of a coin
can’t you see
in the land of the grave
and the home the rich flee
There are two sides to every story,
But we should also remember
That, in many cases,
One side is right, and the other wrong.
And we will be far wiser if,
Beyond recognizing the two sides,
We can distinguish one from the other.
rain taps on grasses
dancing between pinkish toes
…cool ripples lull nights
more hard showers pound
flooding dampened moods non-stop
… gloomy dusk-eye frowns
What Makes You Smile, What Makes You Frown
Contest of Michael Falotico
Loved
tender, passionate
wanting, panting, joining
friendship, pal, foe, enemies
hurting, harming, abhorring
dis-likable, detestable
Hated

Valentine
is that adorable cupid
inciting love.
Thousands of poor hearts
break into small pieces...
some delirious.
Unable
to think of new romance...
they wait and dream.
Who wouldn't
smile...remembering
how wonderful it was?
