Two Sides of Showers

rain taps on grasses

dancing between pinkish toes

…cool ripples lull nights

more hard showers pound

flooding dampened moods non-stop

… gloomy dusk-eye frowns

Congratulations on your big win, Nette in Michael's contest, " What Makes You Smile, What Makes You Frown ". Like a painter inspired by Nature, you see with your poetic eyes the beauty that no one sees and turn it into a masterpiece. I have enjoyed reading your poem of " cool ripples lull nights ". Best wishes for a continued success. Love, Andrew.

love this beautiful write, Nette - friends/colleagues think I'm mad but I just love rain, the heavier the better. Yes, lol, Sue and I loved Burton's Corpse Bride - Sue always cries at the end : )

a very unique and creative way to do the entry by doing those two very different sides of showers!

This is a perfect example of feelings that are associated with a smile and a frown...Your images bring to life both powerful symbols! Awesome creation here my friend, Great Work!!
